Review: Majolica Majorca 'Jeweling Eyes' quad in PK383!

Pink and pretty eyes! Pink isn't just a shade for the cheeks, for those with dark hair and eyes, it looks amazing on the eyelids too! I love the rich shimmery finishes of Majolica Majorca shadows, this quad of pinks is an example of wearable pink shades for the eyes!

Pick this up during a major haul during my birthday month of August, check it out here!

Continue below for the review and look!

Packaging & Product!

Simple, cutesy and practical. That's what comes to mind with the sturdy clear plastic packaging for this quad. For those who think plastic is cheap, it's a small compromise in my opinion as these shadows are so wearable and to die for!

The plastic lid snaps shut very well and it comes with a double sided sponge applicator which is useful although I always use brushes. I like how you can see the shadows inside and the print on the cover is so cute!

This jeweling quad has a satin finish with three of the four, the lightest shade is a fine shimmery pale pink which works quite well under the brow, the shimmer isn't so dense when brushed on. In comparison to the shadows from the 'Majolook' trio, those has a strong metallic finish whereas these have a softer, glowy finish.

These on their own with no base (as swatched) are fairly opaque but they look the most vibrant with a primer. I applied these for the look (below) without a primer and they are a bit sheer but they wore very well throughout the day and look good a bit sheer too.

I think all of the quads and trios from Majo Majo are fabulous and I would pick up more because they are easy to use, the colors work together great and they are of quality!

Four shades in order from lightest to darkest:
  • Shimmery glittery frosty pale pink
  • Satin baby pink
  • Satin medium bright pink
  • Satin aubergine with silver glitter
Using three of the four colors with a slick of liner and mascara. Without a primer, they are a bit sheer but still show up. A touch of the purple on the outer corner adds a lot of depth!

Products used: Cetaphil moisturizer with spf, Rimmel Stay Matte foundation, Bourjois blush in Rose de Jaspe (my review here!), Bourjois mineral powder in Vanille, Kiss me heroine mascara in long & curl (my review here!) , Peripera very nice eyeliner (my review here!), Majolica Majorca 'Jeweling Eyes' quad in PK383

Take a look at my review of the other Majolica Majorca trio in my review here!

Paid: $24.90 SGD ($20.35 USD)

Recommend: Yes, these are a lovely alternative to browns, they brighten up the eyes and are so feminine and pretty!

Repurchase:Yup, the other quads and trios will be on my list!

Bottom line: Sturdy packaging, compact, wearable, long lasting and fun. These I'd recommend to those starting off with make up and looking for something that works really well for your money spent as well as for those who love cute make up and quads/trios!

  2. Really pretty =) I have one of their palettes that's more of a silvery/blue combo. They're very metallic-y that's for sure. But nonetheless pretty and worth collecting! ^_^
