Lunchdate: Black smokey eye and Tandoori with Naan!

Smokey eyes and tandoori chicken! Indian food is definitely enjoyed in my household although we don't eat it as often as our usual chinese singaporean foods. There's a casual Indian food joint called 'Prata Wala' the boyfriend and I like visiting now and again and our favorite thing to get is the tandoori naan set for two which comes with beautifully roasted tandoori chicken, freshly baked naan bread and a spread of vegetable curries and fresh salad.

Sexy Smoked Navy Blue eyes! (Japanese Ramen lunch)

Sexy, smoked and blue! Although I do love trying out lots of colors, combinations of colors and such when it comes to eye make up I always go back to blue when I want something that's edgy, darker and sultry. There's something about dark eyes lined with shimmery navy blue and black that makes the eyes pop and look more defined without being too dark and grungy.

On this particular day, I got a bit more fancy with my eye make up than usual and did a smoked navy blue eye accompanied with the last pair of my dolly wink lashes before heading out into town with my mom for the day!

Simple smokey pink eyes and cheeks featuring the 1028 Macaron Palette!

Simple, pink and lightly smoked! That's exactly how I like to do my signature style of wearable soft smokey eye look! I often wear my eyeshadows exactly like this with various browns and pink! I really knew that I had to play with the lovely pink shades once I bought the 1028 macaron palette as nothing looks more pretty, youthful and eye opening than shimmery pinks!

For those interested or who missed my review of the 1028 Maracon palette do check it out! It's a gorgeous palette filled with light-medium toned neutral shades great for super easy and one or two shadow eye looks!

My Perfect Smokey Pink-Brown eyes! (1028 Brownie Eyes Palette)

Perfect Smokey Pink-Brown Eyes! For many ladies a neutral eye look tends to be quite simple, maybe one shadow or two shades at most. Something light in color and wearable to the office or for the day time. However when I think of the perfect neutral eye it has depth, shimmer, some smokiness but all from neutral shades and no black eyeshadow!

This look is the epitome of my perfect type of smokey neutral eyes. It had pink and brown tones, bright and dark and lots of shimmer as well as being perfectly blended out thanks to the amazing quality of eyeshadow from my 1028 Brownie Eyes palette!

Blackened green smokey eyes, rose bronze cheek and a nude lip!

Wearable duochrome smokey eyes! Whenever I see the most beautiful dark smokey eyes I know that I won't be wearing them on a daily basis or for work or just for a day out. However I love the smokey quality of dark gradient looks and I love duochrome browns and hence I decided to create my version of a dark look but for wearing during the day!

For this look I used my Urban Decay Smoked palette which is a stunning small collection of rich jewel tones, some gorgeous mattes which includes everything you need for a simple clean nude eye to a rich smokey jewel toned eye look.

FOTN: Smoked out chocolate brown eyes using Urban Decay's Smoked palette!

Smoked out chocolate eyes! When in doubt, I do a smokey chocolate brown eye for going out at night! It's the kind of look that can be beautiful, dramatic and so perfect for day or night. I love these warm chocolatey looks, you can use a pale shimmery beige on the inner lids, a pink or even a gold on the lids instead of a taupe or light brown!

Dark Smokey Brown eye with a soft pink lip! (lunch at Brotzeit)

Dark, Smokey and a German lunch date! This simple but yet subtle enough dark brown smokey eye was done some weeks ago for a daytime date! Having received the Urban Decay Smoked palette last year from my boyfriend I've been in love every single time I used any shades from it. The browns in the palette make for a variety of smokey eyes but my favorite is a gradient dark brown one!

The boyfriend and I decided to have a late lunch at the German franchise restaurant here in Singapore called "Brotzeit". It served authentic german food and beers at affordable prices! And finally I ordered something new!

Purple brown smokey eye with the Urban Decay Smoked palette!

Purple brown smokey eyes! Wearable, sexy, warm and with a kick of purple! I knew I was going to do all kinds of smoky looks with color when I got the Smoked palette from Urban Decay from my boyfriend! I had lusted after the palette forever and loved how the colors were cool toned and metallic and would work so well with the other browns in the palette!

I was on my way to an interview for the current part time job that I've had now for more than a month at a very well to do and successful restaurant here in Singapore and thought I would doll up a bit! I hadn't used the purple shade Rockstar yet and decided to go for it!

Meet up with an old Highschool classmate! (Purple golden eyes with Sleek's Vintage Romance Palette)

Purple gold! That's what I think of when I did this eye look! I've done very similar in the past with the Vintage Romance palette from sleek and that's because I'm in love with the purples and gold shades! I love how there are cool and warm shades of purple and a bronze and light gold in the same palette!

On the same day of this look, I met up again with an old highschool and classmate from Cambodia, she had studied there at the international school all her life and I met her when I moved there for grade 6! We were so keen on meeting up again as I've only managed to meet up with her three times the last two years!

Simple two shade smokey deep brown eyes! (roast pork belly sweet sauce noodles)

Simple eyes for a simple day! I was off to an interview for a well known microbrewery here in Singapore that also serves food and decided to go with a super simple look! It's not often that I do one or two shadow looks but I've almost forgotten how simple, fast and enjoyable they are! I really should feature more super simple looks!

Glam brown eyes and a glossy fuchsia lips! (Indonesian dinner and durian dessert)

Glam brown eyes and date night dinner! I always try to eat healthy or try to cut out the fried and oily things but on the days I don't give a crap and just want to purely enjoy I really crave deep fried indonesian dishes! This was on a dinner date out with my boyfriend to the local famous indonesian restaurant "Ayam Penyet Ria"which is located at Lucky Plaza in Orchard road!

Lunch at GRUB's and a smudged black eyeliner look!

GRUB for you? Having always a long list of different indie type cafes or lesser known restuarants on my list as well as very popular eateries that I just haven't tried yet...it's always difficult to choose where to eat next! I decided to try out this cafe located at one end of the very large park in Bishan!

It's called GRUB and is known for their very affordable food and their yummy sides like their fries with japanese mayo dressing and shredded seaweed!

FOTD: Smokey jewel blues eye look with Urban Decay's Smoked Palette!

Jewel blues eye look with Urban Decay! Hey ladies! After receiving my new Urban Decay Smoked Palette from my boyfriend for Christmas I've been sooo excited about doing lots of different smokey looks with it and for a night out some weeks ago I gave it another go and did this blue toned smokey look!

Previously I used the palette and did a green and brown smokey look for our day out to the Gardens by the Bay, you can see the (green smokey make up look here!) I've only used this palette twice now but am so in love with the versatility of the shades and the smooth butter shimmery finish of the shadows!

First look with Urban Decay's Smoked palette! (Smokey green and brown)

Smokey eyes with Urban Decay Smoked Palette! Ladies, feast on eyes on my first smokey look using my very new and very dear Smoked Palette which was gifted to me around Christmas time from my loveliest boyfriend.

I actually very much wanted a special set of mini products from Soap & Glory but he realized that I was on a make up ban and wouldn't buy any for myself so he remembered how much I wanted this palette and got it for me!

Starry Night Sky Make up! (Sleek Vintage Romance palette)

Happy holidays everybody! I'm so glad that so many of you have had the time to read my posts and leave me sweet comments! I've been trying to get around to everyone's festive blog posts as well! This look was done two nights ago when I was meant to meet my boyfriend for dinner, at the last minute he had to work a bit longer. So... I ended up waiting for him at home and made him a home made meat ball burger!

I decided to pull out my Sleek Vintage Romance palette (my review here) and try out some different colors for a more complex, colorful and smokey look! Paired with a blue eyeliner I've meant to use for a long time! Check out my first look with the palette here!

Fall smokey forest green eyes! (Bourjois Smoky eyes trio)

Smokey foresty green! Oh the 'fall' season is almost over! Here's the first of my darker colorful fall/winter year end looks! I was reorganizing my make up collection when I came across a Bourjois smoky color trio which I bought a while back when I used to live in Cambodia.

I love the thought of darker but yet colorful, strong, bold shades when I think of festive inspired looks. The trio is very smokey and cool toned shades which I used together for this foresty green look.

Here's my attempt as a smokey purple gray with a touch of pink! I know it's not amazing but it's one of my better attempts!

Smoldering brown and black lined eyes!

Smoldery black lined eyes! Honestly, I'm a huge fan of black lined eyes with winged eyeliner and a touch of warmth on the cheeks and lips! If my eyes didn't get watery as easily as they do every single day regardless of make up or not I'd love to wear my lined eye looks!
