First look: Sleek's Vintage Romance palette! (Japanese lunch)

Welcome Decadent December! That's what I love to think about the last month of the year! Full of generosity, gifts, food, fun time spent with family and friends. All this irregardless of whether or not you are religious. I don't see how many 'traditional' holidays are any longer truly celebrated for their actual purposes.

Holidays and occasions now are more loosely celebrated and are meant to be times for everyone to have a chance to relax and love life a bit more and I prefer it like that. I am not religious at all and if that bothers anybody, I'm not sorry. We are all entitled to our reasons with justifications and I'm very happy without any faith!

Continue below for my first Vintage Romance palette look!
Purple gold look using Sleek's Vintage Romance palette!
Super quick healthy breakfast on my day off! Scramble on pumpkin muffin bread, grapes and salad with my favorite purple yakult drink!
My very purple eye look with an accent of gold!
Shades used: Meet in madrid (gold) on the inner corners, Marry in Monte Carlo (pink berry) on the center of the lid, Honeymoon in Hollywood (mid tone purple) on the outer corner, Bliss in Barcelona (Indigo purple) on outer corner and crease, Propose in Prague (earth terracotta) above the crease to blend out!

Eye look using Sleek's Vintage Romance palette! Purple, berry and gold eye look!
Eye look using Sleek's Vintage Romance palette! Purple, berry and gold eye look!
Products Used: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (my review here), theBalm Marylou highlighter (my review here), Sleek Vintage Romance palette, Sleek blush in rose gold, Catrice camouflage cream, Korres mango butter lipstick, Kiko stick eyeshadow, Kiss me heroine mascara ( my review here), Kiss me heroine eyeliner (my review here), Etude House Dear My crystal gloss
Eye look using Sleek's Vintage Romance Palette: As you can see the blend of purples and gold go so well with a light cheek and natural lip color!
A didn't do my typical black winged liner because I wanted the eye look to be softer and very delicate!
This photo properly shows the metallic quality of the gold I used in the inner corners, it's so bright and super fine!
On my lips I'm wearing Korres mango butter lipstick in "Natural" with a good coat of the Etude House Crystal gloss full of micro shimmer!
Mom and I having lunch together inside Ichiban Boshi in NEX Serangoon shopping center!
This outlet by Ichiban Boshi is a more premium one compared to their others. The menu is more special and has wider variety! Set meals range from $12-30 SGD
Here are pages from the menu! Amazing sets, all you need is two thirds of one set meal and you're full! I like going for set meals with a hot plate!

They have a great range of side dishes, I haven't tried much from this section of the menu as I always order a different set meal!
Most of the meals come with two main items, an egg custard, pickles, fruit, soup, sashimi or some smaller appetizer!
I used the blunt butter knife that was inside the wasabi container and first made the wasabi into a ball...then by pressing the triangular tip from the base upwards, I created this flowery shape!
I picked this one plate of sushi for us to eat first! Salmon lightly flame seared!

My mother's set meal at Ichiban Boshi: Black pepper beef with cabbage, salmon sashimi, egg custard, miso soup, tofu appetizer, rice and orange slices!
The hot pot is not heated by a candle but a gas burner that can get so hot it boils! You can turn the fire down and up!
My set meal at Ichiban Boshi: Grilled Salmon with vegetables, mixed tempura, teriyakki chicken on rice, egg custard, miso soup, tofu appetizer and orange slices!

I absolutely love eating at any Ichiban sushi or Ichiban Boshi outlets, I think they are totally better than Sushi Tei or any other of the Japanese outlets here. I never eat at Sakae Sushi or Genki Sushi, I just will go straight to this outlet or sushi tei for better quality and choice!

  2. Oh yummy!!! I love japanese food and sushi but i don't eat fish the way the japanese cook them. I can only eat fish when they are deep fried. lol. so my sushi is always fish free and not raw :-)
oh I was debating with myself whether I should get the sleek vintage romance palette , but I didn't get it and now I regret it T.T it is such a beautiful palette full of plum and burgundy! huhuh

    1. I too don't like it raw at all, the only one I can do raw or partly raw is salmon, I will put the rest in hot soup to cook first! It's such a good palette! It's still online on their site I think!

    1. Isn't it just soooo affordable? I initially wanted to buy ALL of the palettes but realized I would only use all the colors in only a few of palettes! Purple and green are my favorite!

  6. Love the make up - especially the lip colour. I've never seen the purple Yakult before! I will have to try and find some the next time I am in HK! In the UK, they only have the original flavours available. Your lunch looks delicious too !

  10. Wow, I love the eyeshadow look here - I can see all the shades that you used but they all work together harmoniously for a complete look. I really like the shade closest to the lash line :) The hotpot looks absolutely delish. Nom! I am not religious either but holidays are always a nice time to look forward to - even if it just signifies the end of the year and new beginnings.
