Starry Night Sky Make up! (Sleek Vintage Romance palette)

Happy holidays everybody! I'm so glad that so many of you have had the time to read my posts and leave me sweet comments! I've been trying to get around to everyone's festive blog posts as well! This look was done two nights ago when I was meant to meet my boyfriend for dinner, at the last minute he had to work a bit longer. So... I ended up waiting for him at home and made him a home made meat ball burger!

I decided to pull out my Sleek Vintage Romance palette (my review here) and try out some different colors for a more complex, colorful and smokey look! Paired with a blue eyeliner I've meant to use for a long time! Check out my first look with the palette here!

Continue below for the full look!
Starry Night Sky eye look using the Sleek Vintage Romance palette! Smokey purple and silver!
During the early afternoon I did a lot of gardening! All those smaller pots were freshly planted from older plants!
Freshly replanted morning flowers, these flowers grow like weeds! You just pluck the nice ends and stick them in soil! They come in many colors but we only have pink and white!
Lily bulb flowers! These haven't bloomed in a while since I haven't taken care of them, they bloom pink or white flowers!
My freshly re potted plants!
From about 4 medium sized pots I managed to replant five smaller ones for hanging on our rail and four more medium sized ones! Going to give some to grandma for her new place!
I was seated where Sirius is standing doing my replanting! He loves to walk past you and get your attention! On the bottom left is a pot of baby Pandan for my grandma as well as a mix of wild ferns!
This is what he looks like when he howls! It's like he's talking to us!
Howling! Telling me that he wants to go out!
I had a very simple yummy fried rice lunch that my mom cooked!
After 45 mins of making up and coming up with this just by picking colors I haven't tried before from the palette!

Two thin layers of my new Couvrance fluid foundation corrector from the French brand Avene! The shade I chose was 02 Natural!
My base set with 17 whitening BB foundation powder! I also filled in my brows with my matte revlon shadow!
I brought the same purple on my lid down onto my lower lash line!
On the lid- Honeymoon in Hollywood, inner lid- Pretty in Paris, outer V and crease- Forever in Florence, above crease- Propose in Prague
The very beautiful range of colors from the Sleek Vintage Romance palette! (my review here)
I wanted drama, color and smokey! Here you go!
On my lids primarily a purple and silver with a deep blackened indigo in the outer V, a warm terracotta above the crease to blend out and a slick of shocking blue eyeliner!
Products used: NYX powder (my review here), 17 BB powder,  NYX lipstick in Hades, Avene Couvrance fluid foundation, Kiss me Heroine make up mascara (my review here), K-palette eyeliner, NYX eyeliner, Kiko concealer, Revlon matte shadow (for brows), Maybelline color tattoo (my review here), Wet n Wild trio, GOSH blush, Sleek Vintage Romance palette (my review and first look here)

My completely look! A touch of GOSH blush in Pink Pie on my cheeks and a warm lipstick shade from NYX!

I used the shade Hades! I love this shade it's a more pinky tone version of Brown Sugar Lip Butter from Revlon!
I really love it when my eye lids are closed or looking down, you can see the full look and intensity!
I tried my best to do some more interesting looks this year end! I'm looking Sleek palettes to death right now! (My review of the Vintage Romance palette here!)

I hope the last few weeks were busy, festive, happy and full of love and delicious food! I think I really need to start dieting right NOW! Before Chinese New Year rolls around and I'm going to be bombarded by so many yummy snacks!

What has been your favorite color to use this December?
More neutral, more bright or dark?
Let me know!

Feel free to comment! Thank you!

  2. Awww you are so good to your boyfriend. Sounds like you had a fantastic Christmas. The makeup is gorgeous! It's dramatic and done-up but not overly so. I love seeing blue on Asian girls. Pretty shades.
