Mytical purple eyes with teal eyeliner!

Purple and teal! There are pretty much three shades of eyeliner that I love, black, dark brown and teal! Teal and turqoise for some reason is my favorite shade of blue. I could wear navy or teal eyeliner literally all the time. I find that blue tones are so complimentary to brown eyes and just look smoldering without being so dark like eyes completely rimmed with black. This eyeliner from L'oreal was purchased some time back but I've absolutely loved it and use it on my waterline whenever I feel like going for a pop of color without extra shadows.

Sheer tropical fruit inspired eye! (lime green, orange, lilac, cranberry)

Light, bright and tropical! I'm definitely one who enjoys playing with color and I like everything from bright to bold to dark to fun! Some time ago I wanted something green and orange but also wanted it to be wearable for the daytime and so I ended up creating this easy to wear colorful look. For me, there never is a wrong time to wear colors on the eyes, it's really up to how you apply them which makes them more suited for day or night. My entire eye look is done with shimmery shadows but I've used shadows with a nice fine shimmer so that it doesn't look too shimmery/chunky in the day time.

My friend Charles!

Day out with with Charles! After about a year or not meeting up although we're both in Singapore, my friend and ex-colleague Charles and finally found time to meet up for an afternoon in town!

We used to work at Universal Studios on Sentosa Island and we both were at the Transformer Supply Vault store. We met up around late November last year and finally after both being very busy, me with school and work and him with compulsory Army service we found time for an afternoon out!

FOTDs: 4 looks for fall! (rosey cheeks, bright/ smokey, dark lips!)

Finally after compiling I've got several looks here I've done which seem quite fall appropriate! Not that it matters with the weather being the same during summer here in sunny Singapore!

I've enjoyed doing more dramatic brown eyes, smokey looks, lots of blush ( I love blush!) and maybe some bright and deep lipstick! I've got plenty of dark lippies but rarely reach for them! Such a shame I know!

I recently met up with an old school friend of mine, she's here studying and it was a great evening. We both got new ear piercings! Photos maybe to come soon!

Summer looks & nails! (Smokey, neutrals & fresh~!)

Summer is not over! Or at least not here in hot humid Singapore! I feel like it's summer all year round and hence I was so depressed walking into the shops yesterday and noticing nothing but fall colors in the clothes. So dark, drab and sad! No more brights and neons and pops of colors everywhere!

Here's a compilation of eye make up looks I did throughout the summer, a lot of neutrals and lots of blush!

A meal at Broitzeit, make up bits & River Island news...!

Hiya all! I'm finally feeling better after several days down and sick with a runny nose, heavy head and my recurring sinus problems! Here are some shots of a meal I had with my mom a short while back.

I did a quick smokey purple look out that night. I also bought two shirts from the Sesame street store at work, one for me and the other for my dearest (I'm very glad he wears it proudly).

Continue below for my FOTD, food shots, make up bits and my last purchase from River Island before it closed down!

Catch-up post: 5 Eyeshadow looks, 4 Outfits of the Days & 3 steps to winged gel liner!

This post is titled 'catch-up'... as my slow blogging the last many weeks has left me with a lot to catch up on. I decided to throw a bunch of similar make up looks and some outfit photos I took together for this very first 'catch up' post!

I've included a three step method on getting a precise gel liner winged look! (with photos!)

EOTD: Light brown with purple gel liner!

A quick EOTD (eye of the day) look...I tend to default to some kind of variation of this eye look when I want something 'stronger' when I go out. I find it so easy to do and so I just switch up the eyeshadows and color of liner!

Rave Review: Kate Gel Eyeliner in 3 shades! (easy EOTD w/liner)

Finally! This has been put off for far too long! I've been using these for about 3 months now and loving every bit of these glorious pots of gel liner!

After trying a bunch of waterproof eyeliners and nothing really being 'waterproof' I picked up the Kate gel eyeliner in BK-1 (black) on a whim...only to discover it was one of the best make up moves I've made!

Local beauty blogger at Bun Bun Make up tips also raves and love the affordability and quality of these as much as I do! Check out her review and comparison with MAC's gel eyeliner!

LOTD: Warm neutrals and black liner (photos!)

Yay! Finally a recent post to go up! I did this look just this morning after realizing that I haven't touched any of my eyeliners in a while. I hate smudged eyeliner on the lower lashline and have been totally avoiding eyeliner there...but I do love how black eyeliner looks on me. Some warm neutrals and mascara and wham! I look Egyptian!

I plan to make pizza today at home with a friend so hopefully that should go well! Yeah, I always love dolling up for friends, gives me an excuse to use make up. Enjoy the look!

EOTD: Teal liner and Champagne!

A quickie post! I wore this look to school and I loved it! No mess, no smudging!

Photos were taken after 10 hours of wear!

I've realized that all my EOTD looks are when my eyelids are double! This is because of the strong waterproof mascaras I use, I will make sure to do some looks when my lids are single!

I used...
  • Bourjois contour clubbing waterproof eyeliner (45 blue remix)
  • Bourjois pot eyeshadow in 08 (very light golden champagne)
  • Maybelline's "the Magnum" volum' express in waterproof brown
  • Skin food small eyeshadow brush
Simple and eye catching!

EOTD: Green w/blue liner (photos!)

Hey there! School's back but I'm going to try to post a little something now and again. Here are a couple photos from a look I did a while ago with a shimmery foresty green color and a bourjois waterproof eyeliner.

  • Forest green eyeshadow from my 24 shimmer eyeshadow palette from "Rhomlon"
  • Teal waterproof eyeliner from Bourjois "45 blue remix"

The forest green I used, it's actually 3-4 shades darker (look below)...they are all shimmery colors!

2nd row from the top the dark green, the palette of 24 colors, all shimmery and wearable of a nice amount (all slightly smaller than a 50 cent coin)

Rhomlon is brand locally found in SINMA in Singapore, I've heard great reviews about its liquid eyeliners...
