Rave Review: Clio Gelpresso Waterproof Pencil Gel liner! (shades 4 and 8)

Gelpresso liner all the way! I do want to take a moment to apologize to a few viewers who may have saw this post before it was ready to be published! It was 1:30 in the morning and I was uploading photos to write posts and instead of hitting 'save', I hit 'publish'!

This korean brand came into Singapore's pharmacy Watsons about more than a year ago and they sell these crossbreed of gel eyeliner in a pencil form. They come in a nice range of wearable shades and have been pretty awesome.

Continue below for the review!
Clio Gelpresso Waterproof Pencil Gel Liner in shades Dark Choco 4 and Chic Navy 8
Comes in 8 shades are shown in the back of the packaging! I really want the gold, beige, emerald and gold shade too!

These are packaged very simply like normal eyeliners! The color of the texts match the color of the liner which also is matched with a stripe of color around the bottom of the pencil! This product twists up so no sharpening required!

Clio Gelpresso Waterproof Pencil Gel Liner in shades Dark Choco 4 and Chic Navy 8

As in its name 'Gelpresso', these bad boy eye liners have the quality and texture of a gel eyeliner. Smooth, creamy and very waterproof, I've worn this to the beach and had it last the whole day through sweating and sun. They both have a shimmery metallic finish, as do all the shades available in this line.

I tried these products completely on their own, no base or shadow on top to set them and they worked amazingly well. I believe they'd work even better if you have a shadow or powder base of some sort as that prevents smudging.

Both shades are so gorgeous and easy to wear as are the others and I'd think these to be great eyeliners for the price here in Singapore. It's a complete recommendation as I can see these being used on their own, as a base if wanted, on top of a shadow or on the bottom lash line!

To remove this product an oil based eye make up remover is needed!

Clio gelpresso waterproof Pencil Gel liner in Dark Choco 4! This one has a soft matte finish, the shimmer barely noticeable!

Clip gelpresso gel liner in chic navy 8, a beautiful teal dark blue which has a gorgeous shimmery finish!
My casual weekend outfit with a Sesame Street T-shirt from Universal Studios singapore!
Lovely washed out gray jean shorts from Cotton On. Very few pairs of their shorts fit well but this one does amazingly!
The boyfriend giving me a 'smile' as I asked for one! Just wanted to pinch him after making that face!

Paid: $18.90 SGD or about $15.40 USD

Recommend: Yes! This consistency of this product is smooth and its so pigmented and wears well, all the shades are easy to wear and fun to use!

Repurchase: YES! Not the same shades of course but I'm lusting after the Emerald green, Star Purple and Beige Shine!

Bottom line: These are pigmented, smooth, long lasting and versatile to use. I'd think any girl would have use for at least one of these gel pencils! They are the same price as regular liquid or pencil eyeliners here in Singapore, so grab one if you can!

Have you heard of this Korean brand Clio?
What do you think of this cross gel eyeliner?
like the shades?
Let me know!

Feel free to comment! Thank you!

  1. Great review Sharlynn! This seems to have an interesting consistency, I don't think I have tried anything like this. It looks very pigmented and shiny! I love pencils that glide on.

I have an inner eyelid crease that sits kinda hooded and most pencil liners then transfers throughout the day. Do you think this would transfer onto my upper eyelid?

    1. I think as long as you put down a powder or eyeshadow as a base, this is pretty long lasting and would have minimal transfer if any. If I wear this alone, I put a dab of foundation powder on my lids to stop any transfer!

  2. The idea of a gel pencil is great! The texture of these eyeliners look exactly the same as my Australis (Australian brand) 10 hour eyeliner as well as the Rimmel Scandal Eyes eyeliner! Creamy and glides on effortlessly, as well as having great staying power. I'm quite liking the Dark Choco shade :) And your Sesame Street top is super cute!

    1. I think its awesome to have a cross between the texture of something creamy and the lasting power of a gel in a pencil, it equals to convenience! I've yet to they rimmels scandal eyes! I want a nude shade for my waterline! Thanks, I'm in love with that top too! :)

  3. I love these kind of eyepencils. They are so versatile in use ;-)
These are 2 gorgeous shades !

  4. Hi, I'm visiting Universal Studio in Singapore this week & I'm hoping to buy that Sesame Street t-shirt. Can you tell me the price please?

    1. It should be about $16 or $17 SGD! The sesame street store has the most affordable shirts in the park! The quality of their shirts are very good!
