Jan 2013 food: Seafood with white wine angel hair pasta!

Seafood and pasta, favorites combined! I'm a huge fan of seafood, I probably could eat any seafood, shell fish, crustaceans, fish for the rest of my meals and be happy. That and pastas and spaghetti which I adore too!

I promised to cook my family a white sauce spaghetti last week and so I did!

Continue below for more photos!
Home made seafood with white wine angel hair spaghetti!
Fresh prawns, frozen scallops and mussels. Chopped up leek, celery, white onion, red onion and garlic. Angel hair for the pasta!
Angel hair is cooked and coated with some olive oil, tossed to prevent sticking.
All seafood is blanched with salted water to remove smells and prevent over cooking later.
Sweet white wine used for cooking the vegetables and seafood.
Saute all the vegetables with olive oil, pepper and salt, when browned add some white wine.
Remove from pan and mix with angel hair, coating evenly.
Saute scallops with butter, salt and pepper!
This is all the counter space we have! Tiny!
Just got a new stove top! It's so lovely!
The leftover butter from cooking scallops, keep to drizzle over the angel hair later!
Some oil, butter from the scallops and then add white wine and cook until just cooked.
Plate the angel hair nicely. I used chopsticks to make these bundles!
