Simple shimmery purple look with a plum cheek!

Wearable daytime purple! For those who are not the biggest fans of super bright or bold colors on the eyes, the way to get started or to get comfortable is to choose one color and work it onto the eyes with a highlight and a brown in the crease! You can replace the purple I used with any other color, a green, blue, pink or orange! Have fun with this simple shadow placement!

Continue below for the look!
Simple shimmery purple look with a plum cheek!
Super simple and wearable purple eye look! A pale shimmery pin k on the inner lid!
A warm toned purple on the lid and a mid tone shimmery brown for the crease!
Products used: ZA two way foundation, Revlon matte (for brows), Biore UV watery mousse, Rival de Loop liquid make-up, Catrice Defining Blush, Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeshadow pencil, Heavy Rotation eyeliner, Maybelline the false lash volum express, Kiss me Heroine mascara, Eyeshadows (Too faced, 4U2, Lancome)
I was feeling slightly oil that day and so I put on a layer of my The Face Shop clay mask! The areas I need it most are on my cheeks, sides of my face and forehead but I was having slight bumps on my sides so that's where I concentrated product on!
A touch of clear gloss on the lips and this makes for a simple and pretty look!
This is how I wear color in a very wearable way! Light, shimmery and maybe sheer! You can wear this out anywhere anytime!
What type of color do you like to wear for everyday looks?
Do you like shimmery purples?
Let me know!

Feel free to comment!
Thank you!

  1. lovely make up look as always, Sharlynn!!
it is funny that you get oily on the areas where mine is mostly dry.. My oily zone is the Tzone and my cheeks are often patchy esp in colder months like now.. I like to wear mask as well , my current favorite is the Glam Glow mud mask, it is very good!!

  7. Looking good with your eye makeup as always, Sharlynn! I love clay or mud masks, but prefer using those paper ones as they're more convenient :D

  10. Very pretty, i love seeing people wear colour. As much as I love a neutral eye, I also love to step out my comfort zone a little and wear colours! I actually did a blog post about how to wear coloured eyeshadow quite recently! I've just followed you :) xx
