Browned cheeks and lips! So many of us think brown is only a shade for the eyes, brows or maybe for bronzing and contouring but yet it can be a very wearable shade for the cheeks and the lips!
With the right tone and shade, browns can really be a bold shade on the lips or a wearable nude. I love warm blushes, brown with other soft pink or coral tones that make your cheeks naturally flushed as well as contoured!
Continue below for my looks!
Brown cheeks with Bourjois Santal and Revlon lip butter in brown sugar! |
My most brown bronzy blush! Bourjois Santal! A smooth red toned brown, blended and placed properly it looks so warm and contours the face beautifully! |
Revlon Lip Butter in Brown Sugar! (Check out my review here!) My favorite warm lip color! And second favorite lip butter! |
Paired with a very simple eye, the glossy warm lip stands out on light complexions! |
Bare lips, mine are very pigmented! |
My lips with Revlon lip butter in Brown Sugar! I love the glossy finish! |
That's pretty much all for now! Just wanted to post this short and simple look post as brown is a very over looked color. I don't use it boldly that's for sure except on the eyes but these are two tones that I absolutely love and think can work for many ladies!
Hope the month of December is going well! Look forward to many reviews, food posts and looks!
Thank you for stopping by!
That color works so well on you. I'm pretty scared to try anything outside of pink or coral on my cheeks...Ahh!
ReplyDeleteI loved your blush!!! You look so adorable and beautiful here.:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful! love this lip butter on you <3
ReplyDeleteI think brown suits you very well!! the revlon lip butter is surprisingly wearable despite of being brown :)
ReplyDeleteI love the whole look, you look pretty! ^^
I tend to stay away from brown when it comes to the lips but I don't mind a bit of brown on the cheek! I quite like neutral, brown-toned, pinky blushes like NARS Douceur or Illamasqua Zygomatic :) The cheek and lip combo you have here is really flattering and I imagine would be ideal for an office-friendly look!
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely shades of brown. They look fantastic on your skin tone. I love brown, I think they look nice on me too.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh about your 2nd photo...the mysterious blush girl! I think these golden/brown colours looks amazing on you, like a glossy Tom Ford girl
ReplyDeleteYou look super pretty! Glowing, fresh, and put together.
ReplyDeleteI still have not tried the Revlon lip butters. Nope, not even after all the hype. This shades looks perfect on you though. I'm experimenting lately with darker lips so keeping this one in mind for sure.
p.s. Love your blog. New follower on GFC :)

I love brown blushes but I only have one brown lipstick in my entire collection that doesn't look too old on me. I think anyone who isn't as ghost white as me could pull off the brown shades a little more natually!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of brown makeup looks! Especially this one :). You look lovely!
ReplyDeleteoh, even brown works for you so nicely!
ReplyDeletelove the pout! :)
I don't usually go for brown lips, but Brown Sugar wears really nicely (and not too dark!). It pairs so well with Bourjois Santa!
ReplyDeleteWow that lipcolor looks stunning !
ReplyDeleteLooooove the combo! The cheeks especially really suit you! :D
ReplyDeleteI have Santal, and it's one of my favorite Bourjois blushers. Brown Sugar look beautiful on you :)
