Neutral and fuchsia! Heya ladies! Having been doing a lot of fun, bold, colorful looks which I absolutely love to do when I've got the day or two in the week off school or work I've missed doing neutrals. Hence, it was a simple day out with my boyfriend for dinner that I decided to do my version of a classic neutral eye with a hot pink lip!
In the last year, only 1/10 of my make up looks I wore lipstick, 4/10 lip product at all and maybe 3/10 a revlon lip butter! Here I've got my favorite shade of lipstick...when I do wear lipstick!
Continue below for the full look!
My 'Perfect' neutral eye with fuchsia lips. Using theBalm's Mary-lou manizer highlighter on the eyes and NYX lipstick in 521 Chloe! |
Perfect shimmery neutral eye look using theBalm Highlighter (my review) and L'oreal Infallible shadow (my review)! |
From a champagne to a deep brown crease and outer V, this is how I do my gradient for my neutral eyes! Finish off with a slick of eyeliner and thick mascara! |
I find this type of gradient for eyeshadows works best for small lids like mine and for most east asian ladies! It allows for the different shades to be seen when you look down and blink, the typical 'asian gradient' usually is dark to light from the lashline upwards which I think doesn't really 'open up' or 'shape' the eye lids!
Product: Biore UV Mousse (my review), Maybelline Mineral BB cream (my review), 17 BB powder, theBalm blush (my review), theBalm highlighter (my review), Revlon matte shadow (for my brows), Maybelline color tattoo (my review), L'oreal Infallible (my review), Kiss me Heroine mascara (my review), Kiss me Heroine eyeliner (my review), NYX round lipstick in Chloe |
To finish off my shimmery neutral eye, I brushed on some rosey blush from theBalm in the shade Cabana Boy (my review here) and a hot fucshia lipstick, Chloe from NYX! |
For dinner that night we went to Siam Kitchen and shared a sea food tom yum soup! Super tasty, I always wish for more! |
We tried this clear beef soup for the first time! It was quite good too! Together with rice, these two soups were so stomach filling! |
To top it off, we shared an appetizer of fried calamari rings and soft shell crabs! This was soo yummy! I'm a super sucker for fried food! |
Nothing out of this world but it's such a refreshing neutral look that goes with everything! |
Do you prefer your neutral eye shimmery or matte?
Paired with a bold lip or cheek?
Let me know!
