Easy shimmery peach eyes and cheeks!

Peachy all over! Safe to say peachy shades are a popular pick. They work well on all skin colors and tend to be super flattering no matter the occasion. I discovered my love for peachy shades first on the eyes and then on the cheeks and I'd always recommend everyone to have one shimmery peach shade for the lids for clean simple looks.

Special: Chinese New Year 2015! (Reunion Dinner and visiting family)

Happy year of the Sheep! To be honest I'm not quite sure if it's a goat or sheep this year as half the portrayals of the animals look like fluffy sheep and the other half have horns and look like goats! Apparently it's the year of the 'ram' to be most specific! I wish all those of Chinese descent a prosperous and happy year ahead! As a chinese Singaporean and living in a country with a predominantly Chinese population the lunar new year is a big deal here.

Expect red and gold lanterns and decorations all over town, supermarkets filled with shelves and rows of traditional snacks and foods for the occasion and streets in Chinatown shut down for temporarily stalls to set up to do business of goods and foods! We also have a public holiday but unlike China or other Chinese countries ours is only a day or two and not a week or two!

Autumnal Orange eyes, rose gold cheeks and a coral tinted lip!

Autumnal Orange! I'm someone who tends to avoid oranges and yellow, even corals and strong yellow golds I tend to shy away from as I don't like how yellow tones and warm tones clash with my already yellow undertone! However after purchasing a beautiful orange toned cream eyeshadow from Shiseido I'm totally going to try wearing more corals, peaches and oranges all together!

I've been seeing so many Fall make up looks, Fall favorites and fall inspired posts so here's my go! It wasn't intentional but I realized it fits so here we go!

Din Tai Fung lunch and Sous Vide Sirloin dinner! (Orange golden eye look)

Dim sum, sous vide steak and an eye look! Hope you all are doing well! I've just finished my 18 month diploma culinary course and am ready to relax for a short while! I'll be doing a proper post on the ending of my course soon! For now, here's a day of food!

I went to the famous Din Tai Fung outlet for lunch and then we made sous vide sirloin steaks for dinner! I also had did a fun and bright orange golden eye look using the lovely MUA Heaven and Earth palette!

FOTD: Chartreuse yellow pop featuring Catrice quad in Yellow Submagreen!

Chartreuse pop with Catrice! Hope the first week of February is going well for everyone out there! I've had quite a relaxed week so far and here's a pop of a more unusual color on the eyes! 

I picked up the quad "Yellow Submagreen" from Catrice some time back but haven't done a review on it yet as I haven't really used it properly yet. One a day I was going to wear a deep foresty green dress I realized the shades were perfect and pulled this quad out.

Fall inspired rusty eye look! (using NYX trio in Golden, Rust, Walnut Bronze)

Rust and old gold! Those are the kinds of shades besides a good deep olive green, navy, mauve taupe and earth tones that come to mind when I think of fall and winter colors for make up looks! It doesn't make a difference in terms of weather here in Singapore though, it's still damn hot and humid and rainy now!

I used this trio from NYX two years ago for a Christmas look however my skill then was not as good as it is now. My placement, blending and overall look I believe is an improvement! I only realized I used this trio before in a similar way after doing this look!

Tangerine Sparkle! Using my newest baby, the Coastal Scents Smokey Palette! Check out my haul from last month where I picked up the palette and some other goodies (here!)

First week at work has gone well, quite sore on the shoulders and my feet are surprisingly doing very well. Apparently next will be crazy so I'm looking forward to resting on the weekend!
