Rave Review: NYX Slide On Glide On Eyeliners in 5 shades!

Slide on the eyeliner! Hey everyone! I know I say this all the time but I don't know if anyone notices but I'm still busy and wish I have more time to post! These babies I picked up a few months ago in my big NYX haul which I bought from booths by Smoochiezz here in Singapore!

I had so much trouble picking but I don't regret spending $70 just on 4 eyeliners! I would go back and buy the emerald green, gold and black! They are very smooth, creamy and as soo long lasting even on my easily irritated waterline!

Continue below for the review and looks!
NYX Slide On Glide On Eyeliners in 10 Purple Blaze, 16 Golden Bronze, 12 Azure, 04 Pure White & 11 Gun Metal

Each one sold by Smoochiezz at her booths are of regular drugstore eyeliner price of $17.90 SGD or about $14 USD
The address is of her warehouse where she sells the whole range of NYX, some MAC, lots of Essie, OPI and China Glaze Polishes are other cosmetic brands like elf and Coastal Scents that can't be found here in Singapore!
Packaging & Product!

On first glance, the colors of the packaging catch my eye as they match the color of the eyeliner almost exactly! I love having products where the packaging matches the color or gives an obvious indication of the shade inside. Not only does the color matches the inside but the finish of the pencils are also shimmery/metallic which matches just like how bourjois blush pots match the shade and finish of the blush! These are awesome details!

I must say, the name of these eyeliner is very justified as they do 'slide on' and 'glide on'. They have a very creamy and smooth texture and they are pigmented with one swipe. Just looking at the swatches below, you can see how pigmented and even they swatch and wear. The purple, bronze and blue are all of a metallic finish. The white is matte and the gun metal is metallic with some glitter!

I've worn almost all of these in the waterline and as a regular eyeliner and they last incredibly well without touch up. For someone who gets a watery waterline very easily these have lasted beyond my expectations.

To make sure this eyeliner stays looking fabulous throughout the day, my tips are to powder below your eyes which prevents the emollient qualities from smearing below and if you get smudging after some time. Use a plain lipbalm and a soft tissue to remove any smudges or fallout of even mascara and then repowder lightly with your finger tapping.

NYX Slide On Glide On Eyeliner 12 Azure in the waterline for my tropical look, check it out here!
After more than 8 hours of wear and NO touching up! For that amount of smudging which is easily fixed with some tissue and lipbalm. This has amazing staying power!

Paid: $17.90 SGD or about $14 USD (between $18-24 SGD is normal for drugstore eyeliners!)

Recommend: Yes, completely! For ladies for like simple brown, greys and black or who love brights, they have a huge shade range with these liners!

Repurchase: Yes but I'd be grabbing at other shades!

Bottom line: Top notch in quality and lasting power these should have a place in every girls make up kit. I'm sure everyone can find a few shades they fancy! I can't wait to pick up some more shades in the future! And yes, I do think these are very similar and dupable to the Urban Decay 24/7 pencils!

Are you a fan of colorful eyeliners? Have any of these?
What shade would you grab?
Let me know!

  1. I've heard these are very similar to the UD, may have to pick up a couple next time I order some NYX. Azure is so pretty for the lower lashline!

  4. Golden Bronze and Azure are my favourites! I loved how you used them in your different eye looks, they're so versatile and vibrantly pigmented. I just wish NYX were cheaper and easier to get a hold of outside the States though!
