Holiday Special: Day 3 in Aonang Krabi Thailand!

Day 3, in Krabi Thailand! Here's the third day of our beach holiday adventure trip in Thailand that I took with my boyfriend last month at the end of March! For all those who commented on my sunburn on the last  post, don't worry, it only took...TWO WEEKS before my back and shoulder burn subsided! Overall I was very happy though, my upper arms and back needed some tanning and the strategically placed sunscreen actually worked!

Here's day 3, we went on a long boat tour of some islands which included some snorkeling in a few areas! It wasn't perfect but for $40 SGD each, you'd never be able to even just take a tour to the sites we went to, let alone go snorkeling and have a local dinner on the beach!

Exclusive perfume collection from Estee Lauder! I'm not sure about everyone else but I'm a sucker for duty free products! I love how they are special, exclusive and not found in regular stores. However when I am actually in duty free I freeze! I spend up to two hours just browsing and thinking and swatching and forgetting about the things I want to buy because I'm just so amazed and want to buy as many things as I can with my budget in mind!

This beautiful elegant perfume set was gifted to me from my mother who came back from a short trip a few months ago. I've never been a perfume or even body spray person but I do like a spritz now and again!

Beef kway teow noodles and fried rice! I don't know about the rest of you but I absolutely love making simple asian dishes at home. I'm really an asian food girl. I like quick cooking, quick prep and fresh flavors which I get from asian stir fries, stews, soups and dishes in general! 

Here's my step by step pictorials of how I make beef kway teow noodles and fried rice at home! Feel free to use chicken, seafood or pork for the noodles and any other meat/vegetables for the fried rice!

Skincare: Olay White Radiance brightening intensive serum!

White Radiance Serum! For the longest time I've known about skincare since I was about 10 years old, it's been drilled into me that it's very important to take care of your skin. I'm not yet 20 but will be later this year and it's definitely time to start taking care of our skin from as early as possible. I'm really considering buying more high end skincare to prevent and improve the condition of my skin.

I have light pigmentation on my cheeks, my skin is normal/slightly oily and my main concern is just to keep my skin plump, even textured and clear! I was in the pharmacy with my mother and decided to pick up this very affordable product!

Rave Review: Sleek true colour lipsticks! (Vixen, Peaches & cream, Fuchsia, Candy Cane, Cherry)

True Colour Lipstick! No, I didn't go mad and put in an order for 5 lipsticks without trying one first! I picked up two shades from them many months ago int the sheen formula after looking at swatches and reviews for a while and I absolutely loved them both. I decided them to go ahead to buy 5 more shades while there was a discount still going on!

I already ordered and reviewed two shades a while ago, they were the reason why I decided to go ahead and buy all these! Check out my review of the shades Barely There and Coral reef!

Empties post: April Empties 20141

April Empties! Yep, it was another great month of using up products and throwing out products that I haven't finished because they don't work or because they're too old! Not much else to say except I really have cut down on my stocking up of products as in the past I would buy two of something if I liked it a lot but now I don't do that as skin changes and your preferences do too!

Visiting Dinosaurs 'Dawn to Extinction' exibihit! (pink and gold eye with Urban Decay)

Day out to the Dinosaurs! A few weeks back when my boyfriend and I were free we decided to travel down to The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands where the Art Science Museum is for the Dinosaur exhibition is being held for some months! Like any other child, we both loved dinosaurs and still are fascinated as ever!

We decided to have lunch at Thai Express, a franchaise thai chain which I haven't eaten at for my years and we had a really great experience! I really want to go back for my food and a dessert!

Bright, fresh and tasty! Those are the words to describe all the yummy meals prepared the last month plus in my home by myself, my boyfriend and my mother! April Haul: Forever 21 dresses and Bershka denim shorts!

April haul time! Yes, I promised to save money! Yes, I need to save for university courses! Yes, I have bought some make up this month! Yes, I ended up buying a few things this month! Oh my...is it just a lack of will power or because as a girl I can't go so long without getting a few things for myself? 

I rarely go to Forever 21 anymore, I dropped by their big store in town in January and didn't like a single thing and walked out but this time when everyone was picking up printed tops, jeggings, stretchy colorful jeans and simple tops I went straight to search for dresses!

Review: Catrice Multi Colour Compact Powder for Lighter Skin 010 Rose Beige!

Multicolor compact powder! Having seen a multi colored pressed powder from so many brands, drugstore and some high end brands I've been drawn to how it would work. Most of the time these multi color powders are either corrective, for setting make up or for light coverage. I saw this at the Catrice stand and couldn't help but to get it because it's so cheap!

I chose the shade for lighter skin and as you can see I was really excited to see how it would look on my yellow skin tone as there's a great spray like blend of colors that make up the powder.
