Rave Review: Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl Super Waterproof Mascara!

Super Waterproof! Today I bring everyone a holy grail of mine for now the 4th year in a row. My holy grail mascara in the past was Kiss Me Heroine's mascaras (both curl and volume versions) in waterproof (they only sold waterproof). However as of the last few years the original waterproof version has been discontinued in Singapore and now we only have this 'Super waterproof' version for both lengthening and volumizing versions of their mascara! Luckily they are just as amazing!

I've already reviewed the Volume & Curl Super Waterproof version (see the review here) and it's holy grail alright. However the good news is that this one is just as fabulous so at the end of the day it's just up to the brush shape you prefer!

NOTICE: To all my dear followers and friends of my blog, I have been away on a holiday the last week and hence the lack of me visiting your blogs and replying to questions! All will resume when I am back in Singapore in the next few days! Thanks so much everyone!

Pale peachy eyes and a glowing raspberry cheek! (French dinner at Petit Paradis)

A glowing look and a delicious dinner! Besides my usually smokey shimmery neutral eyes that I love doing I also have a soft spot just for shimmery peachy shades. The ones that are between beige, coral and pink. My favorite single shadows (my review here and here) for the last few years were from Red Earth, an Australian cosmetic line is now not as easy to find and these shadows are no longer sold from what I've researched.

On the day I wore this look I was going with my boyfriend to meet his father to watch his young brother perform in their school's end of year CHRISTMAS concert! Yes, that's how backlogged I am with my some blog posts!

Food Post: All things eaten out and at home for March/April 2015!

Cereal prawns, ox tail soup and rainbow cake! Food, food and FOOD! I do hope that some of you have followed or check out my food posts! I publish one usually once every other month and it's usually of food that I have either cooked at home, eaten out or sometimes a mixture of both. I've really been making it a point to eat at new places every time I eat out with my boyfriend. Like any normal person I tend to love to eat at my favorite places again and again but I'm now putting an effort into trying out new places!

In the last two months here are some of my featured eats, both meals made at home and eaten out! I also have a few individual posts on a BBQ I did at home and my first tiramisu cake which went amazingly!

Continue below for all the yummy photos!

Review: Laneige Pore Control BB Cushion in shade 13 True Beige!

Pore Control BB Cushion! For those who follow and have tried the trend of BB and now CC cushions I am far far behind in the game. I remember swatching the original first BB cushion from Laneige about 2 years ago or so and I didn't like it. It felt like a thicker tinted moisturizer and the bulky packaging was such a turn off to me. However as time passes and I started seeing reviews I realized that I totally needed to try at least the most raved about cushions!

After so many reviews from different girls I settled on purchasing this from Laneige from the website Qoo10 from an amazing seller called "Best Price Breezy". They sell products from the most popular and very sought after asian brands, plenty of korean brands especially. The compact, refill, extra refill and sponge all were on a sale price I just couldn't pass and hence I seized the moment!

Skincare Review: Instantly Ageless™! (Before and After photos on mature skin)

Interested in an 'Instant Facelift'? Hey ladies! As many of you know my blog is mostly beauty, skincare and food but usually mostly beauty! Recently I was lucky enough to be asked by a friend if I was keen on trying out a skincare product that she was helping to bring into and distribute in Singapore. This product is a "anti-wrinkle microcream" product that's meant to temporarily reduce the signs of aging like a botox without any invasive procedures.

This product is currently sold online in the US, Canada, UK and many other countries including the Phillipines, Indonesia and more! This product is sold through many wesbites, however it is currently out of stock on many of the official sites so do contact [instantmiraclesg.gmail.com] if you are interested in ordering internationally.  (Singapore's website here!)

NOTE: There are so many websites that sell this product, many unofficial ones as well as sellers who are trying to make a profit selling the product individually. Hence I would direct you to the official site and sellers through distributors in each country!

Easy lavender eyes and a juicy plum lip!

Easy romantic lavender eyes! For those who have followed my make up looks over the length of my blog I love playing with colors and making neutral looks exciting! Purple seems to be one of those 'colorful' colors that ladies dabble with when they want to try to step out of their comfort zone. Often purples are considered 'romantic' and 'feminine' which I do agree with.

For this easy purple lavender look I used shadows from my coastal scents palette! I've never actually reviewed the palette but the shadows are of overall great quality for the price!

The Would you Rather TAG!

Would you rather Tag Time! Hey there everyone! Today I bring to my blog another super fun beauty tag the 'Would you Rather?' tag! I've done a few tags now, mostly untagged by anyone but I can't care less because I love answering these questions as they give you more of an idea of who I am. This tag is purely beauty related is why I totally went for it as I really prefer doing tags that are more towards beauty.

I've been tagged to do a few other tags like the Christmas time tag but I have never celebrated christmas my whole life, I'm not christian or care about presents and don't do anything specifically related to Christmas except taking advantage of the sales! HEHEHE. Anyway...here's this tag!

New Year's Day look 2015: Shimmery beigey aubergine gradient!

New year, a new look! Yes, this post is super late! This was the look I created and wore on New Year's day this year! I wanted something neutral but jazzed up a bit and I knew I wanted to wear lashes and this pretty sequined top I had purchased from Forever 21! New year's day was nothing crazy for me, I went over to my boyfriend's for dinner and that was all I did that day!

Review: Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks in 02!

Glow Fleur Cheeks blush! As many of my followers and regular readers know, I'm sort of a blush fiend...actually a complete lover of blush. I've been called 'blush queen', 'blush fiend' and 'blush lover' and it's all true! For the longest time and still today I've wanted and lusted after Anna Sui's Rose Cheek color which looks like this blush from Canmake although more intricate! I still plan to get one from them although since it's a high end brand in Singapore I've never bought anything from the brand except perfume.

I've purchased many single blushes from Canmake and after seeing a few variations of this blush from them last year I just HAD TO GET IT. It reminded me too much of Anna Sui's although at a fraction of the price!

Rave Review: Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation in shade 52!

123 Perfect Foundation! Bringing you another foundation review! I've loved and used two foundations from Bourjois for several years now (Healthy Mix and serum version) but more than half a year ago I was on the search for a long lasting foundation and was directed to this. I have much trust in fellow local blogger Juli from Bun bun makeup tips and as we are very similar in skintone and skin type I went ahead and ordered this online as our drugstore has discontinued this as well as Bourjois Flower Perfection foundation!

(We tend to get certain permanent products for half a year and then they are discontinued! We have very limited shelf space here!) I already had faith in the shade I chose but was really looking forward to see if this foundation would hold up against humidity and heat as Juli reviewed!

Easy light gold eyes using Lorac's Unzipped palette!

Easy light gold eyes! As many of you who have seen my make up looks I seriously am a lover of neutrals, especially the shimmery types. I have a soft spots for various browns, peaches, pinks and also golds at times! This super simple bright eyed gold look was created with shades from Lorac's Unzipped palette! It's a fabulous palette for those who love mid-tone fine shimmery shades!

This look was done for work and although I can wear heavier and smokier/darker looks to work this was one of my odd lighter brighter looks! I know this type of look is usually always going to look great but I don't do them often!

Review: Institut Arnaud Paris Youthful Radiance Day and Night cream!

Youthful Radiance Creams! French skincare brands have been all the rage for the last few years but have always been a reliable source of skincare. Today I have two facial creams which were very generously gifted to me. For years I was someone who avoided moisturizers and face creams under the misguided belief that they would make my oilier skin worse. However as of a few years ago I've become a fan of both light and heavier textured face creams.

These creams are from the Youthful Radiance line (link to the website here) which are products targeted towards younger women. They boast properties to plump up skin, protect from the sun and also ingredients to help firm up and sculpt facial contours.
