On the lips, it's sheer but has a lovely strong pinky coral shade with super fine shimmer! |

Packaging & Product!
Finesse, compact and luxe, these are the words I think of when I think of the packaging of this lipgloss. I really like how they are designed, in a clear acrylic squared tube, although it seems quite large it does hold an average amount of product which is no problem by me. I really like the embossed 'Dior' on the side and how the top of the tube is constructed. The clear tube of this line also is a plus to me because I like seeing the shade inside! The soft small lip brush applicator is also very good at applying the product!
I definitely think the high end packaging matches the quality product inside very well. Everything about the lipgloss meets what I want in the perfect lipgloss. It has a light texture, very fluid, not sticky or thick at all. I love how it has beautiful color but yet this formula is somewhat sheer yet full of super fine pink and golden shimmery! All their lipglosses with shimmer as super fine and looks beautiful and doesn't give any gritty feeling!

The most outstanding quality of these lipglosses from Dior besides the texture is the glossiness! These are so glosses as seen below, it looks like I enhanced the gloss but that's the product naturally! They don't last very long with talking, eating and so on but that's because of the sheerness and lightweight quality of the gloss but that's okay by me. I don't like thick formulas as I have pretty dry lips!
Dior has many other shades and formulas like liquid lipstick with full high pigmented coverage so look out if that's what you like! Do remember that because these are very smooth in quality and thinner in texture they wear off very nicely, no patchiness or uneven color!
Bare lips, mine are usually always slightly dry and peel and flake easily! |
With one layer of Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Flash in 662! It enhances the pink coral color in my lips! |
These layer very well over lipstick too! Giving lots of gloss and a nice fine shimmer overcoat!

Recommend: Yes! This is a lipgloss I would reach for without hesitation as my lips are always quite dry and I usually wear no lip products except lipbalms! If you don't mind a smooth thinner texture and a bit more cost, do try one of these!
Repurchase: Definitely! I will want to buy a different shade from them as this formula works so well with my always dry lips! I love how glossy they feel and how it looks after a long time. I would love a pinky raspberry shade!
Bottom line: High end in all ways, I love the packaging and formula, do keep in mind I think more highly of the light texture and sheerer pigmentation. It works better for me and I will get lots of use of this!
Have you any Dior lip products in your collection?
Do you like sheer textures?
Let me know!
Feel free to comment! Thank you!
It is a pretty shade, no wonder you like it!
ReplyDeleteI've tried several products from DIOR like the foundation, eye shadows, dior addict lip gloss and blushes but I've been so far not impressed.. I meant, they are not a bad product at all, but I just don't think they're worth the money.. T.T
Ooh this is so pretty! I love the subtle sparkle and of course the glossiness looks lovely! Your lips are lovely & full already but it enhances them even more. Glad to hear they are not that sticky! Nothing worse when your hair sticks to your lips haha xx
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous lipgloss and I love the packaging. It's rare for me to splurge on high end lipgloss. I guess because the drugstore brands usually meet my expectations as far as lipglosses are concerned.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried Dior lip glosses but the colour is super pretty! Looks like it would perfectly fit the bill for something quite easy to wear and naturally flattering :)
ReplyDeleteshade looks gorgeous, thought the price is too much!
ReplyDeleteLooks sooo good!
ReplyDeleteI have a Dior gloss and I agree, they don't last very long! The one I have is a darker shade, so it's not very forgiving if it fades. I think these sheer ones are much nicer for something that doesn't always stay in place.
