Bold and (mostly) blue! I know, I know...I just realized that every time I usually do bold colorful eye looks I don't blend out the color where I want it to stop, I just try my best to leave a clean cut off of color. I don't know...
I think I need to try the blending thing with color for a more refined look! Oh well, more brushes to wash!
I did this look more than 2 months ago when I met up with two girl friends of mine for a lunch meeting. One was visiting and the other is still in Singapore as of now so it was so lovely to meet up for the lunch. We don't know when we'll all be together again!
Continue below for the look!

Bold teal and limey green eyes! |

Bold teal and limey green eyes! (plus a pair of spidery lashes!) |
|
Coastal Scents Smokey palette: I just used the matte turquoise green shade in the second row from the top for the outer third of my lid! | |
|
|
Quite a spidery pair of lashes but they work out okay! |
|
Yeah, stop staring at that cut crease will yah! I'm working on the blending skills! |
Overall I love what I've got on the eyes but I think bringing some color down onto the lower lash line would make it seem better instead of just a chunk of color on my upper lid! I avoid my lower lash line because of how watery my waterline can get!
|
Although very spidery I'm so ready to wear lashes more often to enhance looks! |

Meeting up with my two lovely lady friends! I'm so sad that I may not see them together again for many years to come! Good highschool friends equals to contacts for life! |
Having gotten back from my lovely holiday break last Thursday night with my mother I've got soo much to share! I can't wait to write my haul and holiday post! Do look forward to that!
This has been the first 'proper' holiday break of any sort I've had since last November! I really went crazy shopping!
Feel free to comment!
Thank you for stopping by!

Deletewhat a lovely look!!! i wish i could pull off such bright color as well!!! i am not brave enough to wear bright colors on the eyes, always stay with my earth tones.. T,T
ReplyDeleteI always love how you apply your blush, Sharlynn!! and how you always manage to capture it very well! my camera always fail to capture it clearly T,T
I'm sure you can! It's just placement and I know you do look good with pops of color! Haha, my camera is not very special, just a digital canon!
DeleteCute! Those lashes are VERY gorgeous! I love your whole look. Teal is def a very beautiful color!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen, I thought they were a bit strange but they turned out nicely!
DeleteBeautiful! I like that you haven't blended the colours out a whole lot, I think it keeps it vibrant and it is still nice and neat. As long as it looks pretty like this, you needn't worry ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you appreciate the way I did it, I guess that its neat works! Thanks for the feedback

ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous!!I'm speechless ...love the colous you picked! :)
ReplyDeleteAh girly you are just so beautiful! These colours always look lovely and I do like the unblended look on you, but you could always blend a soft brown in the crease before the lid colours so they look more softer? xx
