For those unaware, my boyfriend and I went on a relaxing beach getaway to Krabi Thailand where we stayed right next to the beach and spent out 5 days eating, beach hopping and walking around a lot!

Overview: My Catrice Defining Blush Collection!

My Catrice Blush Collection! Feast your eyes on my Catrice defining blush collection! For those who aren't aware, I freaking love blush! I used to be scared of blushes, scared I'd turn into my mother who wears mostly just lipsticks and blush but the last few years have turned me into a blush monster!

Catrice landed in Singapore's shores in early 2013 and since then I've been trying to try out all of their range from their blushes, quads, concealer and foundations! I've just gone nuts because the range sells here for a price range of $3-20 SGD which is amazing considering international drugstore brands start selling at $20 SGD!

Review: Manhattan Powder Rouge Tender Touch Blush in Elegant Violett!

Hand over that Powder Rouge! Blush, blush, blush...I never thought that I'd turn into such a blush hungry make up monster! Eyeing all blushes rose and berry, I can avoid repurchasing the same shades of eyeliner or eyeshadow and lipsticks but when it comes to blush, I literally cannot help it! 

I just love rose and berry tones for blush! It's just such a strong love that it doesn't matter how many similar types of rosy toned blushes I have, I'll always be happy to own more and try more! This lovely drugstore piece was gifted to me from Pam from Jade in the Palace blog in our last beauty swap! (Check out our swap here)

Din Tai Fung lunch and Sous Vide Sirloin dinner! (Orange golden eye look)

Dim sum, sous vide steak and an eye look! Hope you all are doing well! I've just finished my 18 month diploma culinary course and am ready to relax for a short while! I'll be doing a proper post on the ending of my course soon! For now, here's a day of food!

I went to the famous Din Tai Fung outlet for lunch and then we made sous vide sirloin steaks for dinner! I also had did a fun and bright orange golden eye look using the lovely MUA Heaven and Earth palette!

Rave Review: NYX Butter Gloss in shades Vanilla Cream Pie, Cupcake & Raspberry Tart!

NYX Butter Glosses! They've been out forever and I'm so jealous of the ladies who have collected half of them or even ALL of them! NYX is finally being sold in Singapore but at Sephora and at travelling booths in malls. But I much rather avoid seeing all the other make up so I won't end up with more than I meant to buy!

I bought these from an online shop called 'Shopping district' which sells products from brands like NYX, Cover Girl, Wet n Wild and even Maybelline and L'oreal but basically products that can't be found locally in Singapore. At the time I bought these the newer shades had just become available on their site and it was so hard just to pick three to start with!

Skincare review: Scentio Apricot Sherbet Body Scrub from Beauty Buffet!

Apricot Sherbet Body Scrub! Body scrubs! It's the type of product I don't use very often and therefore I find as a treat when I do whip out my tubs of body scrub! While on holiday in Bangkok last year I picked this up at the famous Beauty Buffet skincare/make up shop! 

I had so much trouble making up my mind which scrub to buy because they had 6 different version of this body scrub and I wanted them all! (Check out my holiday beauty haul here!)

NOTE: This can be purchased in Singapore from Smoochiezz beauty booths or online store for $15.90 SGD! It's double the original price but still soooo worth it!

Special: Mini Highschool Class of 2012 Reunion at Brewerkz!

Highschool Reunion! Hello ladies! For those who don't know, I grew up in several different countries in south east asia, returning often during holidays to singapore. Hence my classmates are from everywhere in the world, in a class of 25-30 students, people came from 10-15 different countries or more.

This was our life and still is, being surrounded by people from everywhere was our reality growing up and it doesn't challenge us like a lot of locals seem to feel growing up and living in one place their whole lives! The three that I met up with were classmates I had while living in Phnom Penh Cambodia!

Review: Covergirl Last Blast Length water resistant in Black!

Covergirl Lash Blast Length! Yes, which asian girl do you know of who doesn't want more length? Or thickness? Or curl? We really do have some of the wimpiest lashes out there but then again we also therefore have a reason to try out tons of mascaras! 

I already have my holy grail in the Kiss Me Heroine mascara (my review here) which I've been using the last 3 years and repurchasing before I finish as not only does it make my lashes amazing but it's super waterproof to the point of being able to swim with it on.

I had asked a friend to help me buy this as I was interested a while ago in trying this out. There's so much positive feedback on covergirl mascaras I thought I'd give this one a try!

Covergirl Last Blast Length water resistant in Black!

Home made mince beef, lamb and liver curry gravy pie!

Mince meat and curry pie! As usual, my boyfriend and I often cook up new recipes and I had a craving for a mince meat pie for a while! We both decided on a mince beef, lamb and pork liver pie and I decided that I wanted to make the gravy curry flavored!

It was an unexpectedly amazing pie and it came out beyond what we'd thought it would. This is a super simple and easy way to make a super tasty, filling and heart warming deep dish pie!

Lime, pastel purple and soft orange eyes! (Kiko and Catrice eyeshadows)

Soft colorful eyes and fluttery lashes! In my effort to create more colorful or interesting look I went digging through all my eyeshadows looking for lesser used products and went to my storage area for products that are new and untouched! I decided to use a Kiko palette which was gifted to me which had soft mattes and some shades from my Catrice Submagreen quad!

To finish off this more unusual eye look I added a dramatic fluttery soft effect pair of lashes also gifted to me from Pam from Jade in the Palace. They were from Primark beauty and look and feel so good on!
