Review: Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Flavored Gloss in So Jelly!

Glossy, shimmer and oh So Jelly! Like most girls one of my first ever make up type product was lipgloss and lipbalm. I've always liked glosses, the shimmery, super glossy and sweet smelling kind that turns a lot of ladies off when they get older. However in recently years I don't often wear glosses as it's the most annoying things when it's hot and humid and you're constantly sweating and the wind blows and your hair gets stuck in your gloss. I do have a soft spot in my heart for certain shades when it comes to lipglosses and recently while wondering through Victoria's Secret, looking for nothing in particular I saw this shade and HAD TO GET IT.

Packaging & Product!

Like many basic lip glosses, this one comes in a plastic squeeze tube with a slanted hard plastic applicator. I don't mind and really like this type of simple packaging, every bit of product can be used up and I love being able to see the shade inside like everyone else. Basically the packaging is simple and functional and the metal finish text and cap are pretty little touches.

Right to the point, this shade just jumped out at me! I've been loving and searching high and low for this type of iridescent multidimensional purple/ lavender/ silver/ multicolor shimmer type of color. I've seen similar shades from other brands who release usually a whitish or light purple shade like this meant to be layered on top of other lip colors or to be used as a highlight on the lips.

This gloss has a lovely light grape jelly smell, the consistency too is just right, moist and just sticky enough. Best of all besides the color being so on point for what I'm searching for, the multicolored silverish/bluish shimmer are perfect. It's so fine that you don't feel anything on your lips and when the color fades you can't left with any visible bits of shimmer. Simply put this lipgloss is gorgeous on its own as it has a lovely light color but also layered on top of a cool toned pink or purplish lipcolor, this is sooo beautiful!

Wearing only Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Flavored Gloss in So Jelly!
Paid: $19 SGD or about $14 USD (There was an in store offer for 3 for $40)

Recommend: YES. Those who have no qualms with simple straight up lip glosses and who don't mind a standard formula with a sweet candy fruity smell do check these suckers out. They aren't the most pigmented but the few shades they come in are really easy and wearable and gorgeous!

Repurchase: Maybe, I really did have my eyes one one other shade, a gorgeous translucent blue shade with shimmer!

Bottom line: These small and pretty range of lip glosses from Victoria's Secret is worth checking out. For those who just want some color on the lips with lovely shimmer do check them out. They are of a decent quality and I think both younger and adult women will find use for the various colors avalible!

I am not a fan of lipglosses... my hair always get stuck in them ;)
I did not know that Victoria´s Secret carried beauty products (other than their fragrance mists :)
We only have the frangrance mists here in Vaasa.. we do not have a VS store so the mists are being sold in some grocery stores that carries beauty products :)
