Mince meat and curry pie! As usual, my boyfriend and I often cook up new recipes and I had a craving for a mince meat pie for a while! We both decided on a mince beef, lamb and pork liver pie and I decided that I wanted to make the gravy curry flavored!

It was an unexpectedly amazing pie and it came out beyond what we'd thought it would. This is a super simple and easy way to make a super tasty, filling and heart warming deep dish pie!

Lime, pastel purple and soft orange eyes! (Kiko and Catrice eyeshadows)

Soft colorful eyes and fluttery lashes! In my effort to create more colorful or interesting look I went digging through all my eyeshadows looking for lesser used products and went to my storage area for products that are new and untouched! I decided to use a Kiko palette which was gifted to me which had soft mattes and some shades from my Catrice Submagreen quad!

To finish off this more unusual eye look I added a dramatic fluttery soft effect pair of lashes also gifted to me from Pam from Jade in the Palace. They were from Primark beauty and look and feel so good on!

Snacks of April : Daiso snacks haul!

OMNOMNOM SNACKS! Who doesn't love to have snacks? Crunchy, crispy, salty little bits that we just eat mindlessly because we can and because they are sooo yummy! I used to snack a lot when I was younger and not in terms of chips and candy and sodas but in terms of proper meal snacks like a small basket of fried wings and fries or wantons!

My boyfriend and I raided a Daiso recently and I told him that I plan to slowly eat through all the snacks sold at the Japanese $2 store by buying different snacks everytime we visit! Here's a bunch we picked up and ate through this last month!

Rave Review: Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box!

Gimme that Deluxe Shadow Box! This beautiful box of colorful shimmery shadows from Urban Decay was gifted to me by the lovely Pam from Jade in the Palace blog! We had a swap some months ago and this was an amazing surprise from her as she knows that I like playing around with bright colors and I love shimmery shadows!

I'd almost ordered this for myself two years ago but the shipping cost from the site was too high for my liking and skipped. I was sad as this isn't produced anymore and isn't sold in many places anymore so receiving this was such a heart warming surprise!

Review: Boots Botanics Mattifying Toner Shine Away!

Botanics Mattifying Toner! I used to suffer from oily skin all the time but after being on medication to help control my oiliness I have combination skin at worse. This very interesting toner from Boots Botanics range was picked up during my holiday in Bangkok last year! Check out my Bangkok beauty/skincare haul here!

I often like using toner at home when I'm not wearing any make up and love using it at night before applying any skincare. Toner is a great for a skincare routine when you have oilier skin!

Rave Review: Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light 884!

Contour me away! I've never and am still not a contouring gal. I don't often sculpt or contour my face although my flatter asian features could use a light contouring in the cheek and nose region. Due to my lack of interest of care to try contouring products I simply don't have any! 

However after seeing so many girls who are and aren't contour queens using this simple looking 'kit' from sleek, I decided to go ahead and order it after having ordered a lot of make up from Sleek already and loving it all! (Check out my most recent Sleek haul here!)

Lunch at GRUB's and a smudged black eyeliner look!

GRUB for you? Having always a long list of different indie type cafes or lesser known restuarants on my list as well as very popular eateries that I just haven't tried yet...it's always difficult to choose where to eat next! I decided to try out this cafe located at one end of the very large park in Bishan! 

It's called GRUB and is known for their very affordable food and their yummy sides like their fries with japanese mayo dressing and shredded seaweed!

Rave Review: Vanill Press Powder in 02!

Vanill Press Powder! I don't know about other ladies here in the blogsphere but I am in love with powders. All pressed powders, any type of pressed powder with coverage I want to try! I got through about one 7-9 gram pan of pressed powder every month, I just love using it on its own or to set my base. 

I took the opportunity while I was there to purchase make up and items from brands not found here in Singapore and I got a big bunch of pressed powders knowing that I will eventually use all of them up within the next 6 months to a year!

First Bath & Body Works haul! (Flagship store in Singapore!)

First Bath & Body Works in Singapore! I'm not exactly sure when they opened by I believe it was earlier this year or late last year. This is our flagship store, located in The Shoppes shopping center at Marina Bay Sands, it's a large high end retail stop that's full of exclusives and expensive brands. I personally am not interested in the fashion part but I'm so glad that there's a B &BW here!

I had to go and buy something since I love scented candles and soaps! I was so tempted to buy several body washes because they smelled sooo damn good! But I didn't want to spend too much and stuck to two simple picks!

Rave Review: B. Vibrant Lip & Cheek Color in Fandango!

Let's B. Vibrant! Having won this much raved about lip product from giveaway held by Evelyn from We Were Raised By Wolves I was so excited to try this out and to see if the formula would work with my very difficult lips that tend to be so dry and peel when I put on lip product!

After testing this out for a whole day at home, I was confident to try this on a night out and I totally didn't regret it at all. This is officially the best lip crayon I've tried this year!
