It's cushion time! It's been a couple years since BB creams and subsequently cushions have flooded the beauty markets. From asian brands, dermatological brands, mainstream western brands and finally high end brands, BB cushions are pretty much everywhere now. My personal experience is basically made up of Laneige's version and this one by Iope which is another super popular pick for cushions.

Packaging and Product!
The compact of this cushion is a very standard. The compact is somewhat bulky and like many other cushions has a mirror inside the cover as well as a shield for the cushion where the applicator sponge rests. Although there is nothing particularly special about the packaging I do very much like the clean look of the design and color and the finish of the cover which is a pearly look.
As for the cushion, I picked out the color C21 which at the time was the middle shade of three available and to my delight it is such a great match! This shade has a great neutral tone and isn't too yellow or pink and is what I'd call a perfect light beige type of color that is good for NC 20/25 skintone.
This Air Cushion has a very nice light texture, sweet sunblock scent and light- medium coverage. It applies very smoothly, blends into my skin very nicely and has a natural finish on its own. My favorite way to apply this has been with a brush or with my fingers with the actual applicator being my least favorite.
I however as always set my base with a pressed powder to keep it on in the hot and humid weather here in Singapore! I found that this cushion, set with a powder lasts all of a 8-10 hour day and where it does wear off it's not noticeable and a touch up of pressed powder does the job without any weird patches or cakiness.

Comparison of bases!
Out of the four bases swatched here my complexion matches the Iope and Bourjois best!
For comparison: Iope Air Cushion XP in C21, Bourjois Healthy Mix in shade 52, ZA True White in shade OC00 and Bourjois Air Mat in 02 Vanille! |

Paid: About $30 SGD or $21 USD (purchased this on Qoo10.com)
Recommended: Yes! This cushion is a very solid base. I very much like how the color is void of any greyness, has a great texture, good coverage for everyday use and wears very nicely throughout the day.
Repurchase: Yes! In terms of a match that is literally perfect this shade is such a fantastic match on my complexion. In terms of wear it looks great too but it probably will be a long time before I purchase another as I had got this with a back up cushion refill.
Bottom line: This is an excellent cushion all around! Now there are three types of Iope cushion, one more coverage, one with shimmer and one that is a natural finish as well as more shades now! I would totally recommend if you can find a match to try this cushion out especially if you live in warmer weather!
Have you tried Iope Cushion before?
What cushions have you tried?
