October food post: #2 (lunch at work, home made spring rolls, chinese dim sum)

Want to see what I eat at work? I've been taking photos of my lunch meals at work! We have asian and western choices of food at work but I prefer the asian choices, I can make far better western food at home!

Continue below for home made spring rolls, work lunch and chinese dumplings!

Food: Jaffa and Bourbon biscuits from M & S!

Some lovely biscuits I picked up from Marks & Spencers last year. I'm a fan of anything chocolate that's not too sweet and orangy flavors. I've had jaffa before but from a local uk brand when I was in england.

(Late) Haul for Dec 2011 (Essence cosmetics, food & clothes!)

Happy New Year everyone!!! Getting on with a late haul post! Oh my...I could not have been happier when I saw this (below) at the Watsons in Takashimaya which is the biggest outlet in Singapore....I was like "Holy shit!!! Essence is in Singapore!"

Even though it's a commonly found European drugstore brand it was such a nice surprise as nothing cosmetic ever sells under $15 in Singapore....the products were priced higher than they would be in Europe/US but everything is very inexpensive....single shadows for $3.30? Are you kidding!! No such thing in Singapore drugstores ever. Wow! I will be back for more!

Continue below for my essence haul, japanese eats and clothing haul!

Garden: Fruits, vegetables and sunflowers!

These are some photos of my garden here in Singapore from a couple of months back when I managed to grow sunflowers and pumpkins! Year round we have several fruit trees and plants and plenty of green potted plants but the sunflowers and pumpkins were a one time affair I've yet to do again!

Here are a bunch of lovely photos of the flowers, fruits, vegetables and one of our dogs!

Surprisingly my grandmother has been having great luck with 5 pumpkins growing in her tiny little garden. I gave her 2 pots with several pumpkin plants. It seems like they grow very well even when started off in pots.

In full bloom!
Slowly opening....
One of the longer shaped pumpkins all grown from seeds...
Petunias! Beautiful while they lasted for about 2 months...they just weren't meant for pots and singapore weather!

More rounded local types...grown from seeds!

Grandma's 77th birthday BBQ! (All Photos! Food & Family!)

This may be my last post for a few weeks, school starts on monday and it's going to be a heck of a year..the last year of highschool and so I will be very busy! I'll continue taking photos and will try to post once a week or a fortnight!

Enjoy these photos from my grandma's birthday BBQ table grill!

NOTE: Please respect my photos, DO NOT copy and use them as your own. Think about the time, effort and money put in.

Made from boxed mix, I used a fancy mould, the bottom was messed up!

Lemon frosting! Adding extra icing sugar and margerine to cove the cake!

Frosted up with a silicone spatula! Any would do!

Close up, the frosting looks lovely, always frost after the cake is cooled and then keep it in the fridge!
