Review: Anna Sui Rose Cheek Color N in 301!

Rosey Cheeks! Blush has always been my kryptonite! I love a good blush and application that not only adds color to the face but sculpts the face without the need for any contour or bronzer. Anna Sui's aesthetic has always been appealing to me. Along with the look and all things rose obsessed there was a time that I just loved the look of blushes with multiple shades. This was in the back of my mind for about two years before I found them at Sasa and swatched them all in person before finally  getting my hands on one!

Review: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush!

Ambient Lighting Blush! Let's be honest, although it's been more than two years since the release of this very popular product, the line of Ambient products from Hourglass has yet to fully die down. Their powders have lots of crazy fans along with the blushes and bronze pieces in the line. I have never been one to buy things when they first release and I did not. This purchase was made a good year and more after the release. At that time, you still could not buy Hourglass products in Singapore (there used to be a stand alone boutique shop years ago I found out but it had closed down some years back) and therefore when I saw this available on a popular local online cosmetic shop I was one of many who made purchases in their pre-order and paid a very hefty price for it.

Rave Review: Addiction Blush in Romantic 15!

Blush Mix on the cheeks! For many outside of Japan, the brand Addiction is not very accessible. It's avalible online only for those residing outside the country and I had the help of my best friend two year ago now to send me some goodies. I HAD to get a blush and I ended up choosing this iredescent mid-tone pink which I'm super glad I picked out.

Rave Review: MAC's Mineralize Blush in Love Joy!

Bring me that Love Joy! When I was younger I was under the impression that in order to say that you had "good make up" you had to have make up from MAC cosmetics! I'm not saying now that they're not good but I still don't own anything much from them just because buying MAC here isn't very convenient and is quite costly. I used to own a few single shadows but that was a long time ago and since then I've been wanting to try their bases however this mineralize blush and another in the shade 'gentle' (my review here) were purchases I made last year at the Singapore Airport!

Rave Review: Make Over Perfect Shade Blush On Palette!

Get your Blush On! Blush, rouge, color for the cheeks...whatever you call this stuff of magic, I LOVE blush and never thought when I was younger that I be such a blush fiend and addict! Those who are familiar with my make up looks would know how much I love my rouge and how I like to sculpt my face with blush instead of contour or highlight. Here I bring to my blog literally one of the best blush buys I've ever made. Purchase while on holiday with my boyfriend in his hometown Bandung, Indonesia, this palette has full sized blushes and cost the equivalent of one blush in Singapore!

I've always been jealous of how my neighboring countries like Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia all have lots of local make up and skincare brands. This brand which I came across 'Make Over' has an amazing range of brightly colored eyehsadows and lots of range in all their other categories of make up! I just couldn't resist walking into their stand alone store and browse leading to this!

Review: Addiction by Ayako Cheek Stick in 07 Amazing!

Whip out that Cheek Stick! Today I'm bringing the first of several reviews I have on products from the Japanese brand Addiction by Ayako. It's a much lesser known brand which I have had the privilege of trying and owning thanks to my best friend who's living in Japan currently and she sent  items to me that I asked her to help me get! I'm really not a lipstick lover and neither have I tried more than 2 cream blushes so far however I was totally intrigued by the cheek stick product which is for both the lips and cheeks despite looking soley like a lipstick!

My best friend helped my order this item from a local japanese website, if you are keen on any Addiction products check out Ichibankao.com as they carry a great range of drugstore to high end products some of which are difficult to find outside of Japan. All prices include world wide shipping!

Rave Review: Catrice Defining Blush in 080 Sunrose Avenue!

Sunrose Avenue we go! Those who have read my blush reviews may know that I've reviewed quite a few of the single defining blushes from Catrice. This brand, a european drugstore brand became avalible a few years ago and sells such a wide and amazingly range of products for half of the price of regular drugstore names in Singapore like Maybelline, revlon and so on. I've fallen madly in love with these blushes given their price, colors and quality.

This shade was the last shade I added to my collection of a total of 5 single blushes from Catrice. The moment I swatched this shade I knew it was going to be to love! Those keen on seeing my Catrice blush collection (check out here!)

Rave Review: Marc Jacobs Shameless Bold Blush in 216 Rebellious!

Be Shameless, be Bold! For the ladies who have followed me for a while and who have noticed my heated love affair with blushes, rouge for the cheeks and any powder that is of a pink or raspberry tone this review should come as no surprise! I had hauled this baby at the end of last year as part of my first Sephora haul to be featured on my blog (see the haul here)!

I had decided to treat myself and went all out that day with this purchase being one of the best things I picked up last year. It was such a struggle to decide on which shade to pick up when it store but it really boiled down to two choices of colors I would practically use on a daily basis and the boyfriend helped me decide!

Tag: The Blush Addict Tag!

Brought to you by The Blush Queen! Yes, this tag has been long in waiting, I knew from the moment I saw it that I was going to do it, no question about that. I've been given the name or called 'Blush queen' by several lovely ladies in the blogging community and I accept the title graciously. I do not have the largest, most varied or interesting blush collection however I'm pretty sure due to the fact that I'm known for my pretty flawless, sculpted and generous applications of blusher (as seen in my many FOTDs) that was how this name came about.

I'm going to be bloody honest. I could not stick to single answers for most of the questions. I mean, I wear all my blushes and love them all and it's impossible for me to just use one for more than a few days consecutively. Please take the time to see this tag done by the ladies from AngelicBetrayal, Sleep and Water, Ad Astra and Status.Chlo!

Review: Zoeva Sun Power Blush Palette!

Sun Power Blushes! For those who don't already know I am a crazy blush maniac! I love powder blushes, especially a good shimmery, glowy one! I used to be exclusively in love with berry pink types of shades and rosy tones but the last few years I've totally dipped and then submerged my toes into all the other major blush colors and have loved them all!

This purchase was actually made now almost a year ago on Luxola.com! After having seen many rave reviews on their single blushes I was having a hard time deciding which one I wanted, hence when I saw this blush palette from them, retailing at only double the price of a single blush...I HAD TO GET IT. There were almost no reviews or photos of this palette, therefore it was a slight chance I was taking!

Review: Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks in 02!

Glow Fleur Cheeks blush! As many of my followers and regular readers know, I'm sort of a blush fiend...actually a complete lover of blush. I've been called 'blush queen', 'blush fiend' and 'blush lover' and it's all true! For the longest time and still today I've wanted and lusted after Anna Sui's Rose Cheek color which looks like this blush from Canmake although more intricate! I still plan to get one from them although since it's a high end brand in Singapore I've never bought anything from the brand except perfume.

I've purchased many single blushes from Canmake and after seeing a few variations of this blush from them last year I just HAD TO GET IT. It reminded me too much of Anna Sui's although at a fraction of the price!

Review: Beauty Buffet The Bakery Lollipop Blusher in 01!

Lollipop blusher! Are the rest of you like me and get all happy inside when you see make up that looks like candy/food? I'm a huge admirer of make up and skincare that is packaged, scented, colored or themed like food of some sort but I personally don't own many items like so. This blush I picked up while on holiday with my boyfriend in Bandung, Indonesia (see the make up haul here!)

'The Bakery" is a line under Beauty Buffet which is a brand from Thailand which sells a huge range of skincare and make up with products made mostly all in Thailand and Korea. (See my Bangkok make up haul here and skincare haul here!)

Review: Shiseido InteGrate Milky Flower Cheek Limited in 1 Flower Pink!

Milky! Shiny! Flowers! Don't as me what that's exactly suppose to mean! Those exact same words are on the front of the packaging! I think the 'milky' refers to the gradient colors and how the shades are a bit pastel/soft in tone, the 'shiny' maybe due to the shimmer and the 'flowers'...well that one remains a giant mystery to me!

This beautiful blush was purchased through the Japanese cosmetics site Ichibankao.com, the sell everything from Japanese drugstore brands like Kate, Visee, Lavshuca to departmental store high end brands like Jill Stuart, THREE, Addiction and Suqqu!

This brand InteGrate is a Shiseido owned brand and it can be found on the website under 'Shiseido'. All prices on the website include shipping so what you pay for both the product/shipping is the price listed for each product!

Rave review: MAC Mineralize Blush in Gentle!

Mineralize blush in Gentle! For those who aren't aware I've owned very few MAC products! I have owned a total of 3 single eyeshadows, lost the one that I loved the most, didn't get much use of one because it wasn't that good and then forgot about the third one at the back of my stash! Believe it or not I've never owned a foundation, powder, blush or LIPSTICK...Yes I said I've never owned a MAC lipstick before! AHHHH!

Hence as I was on my way to Bandung Indonesia for a relaxing long getaway (see my holiday post here) I had to drop by the Mac store inside Singapore Changi Airport for a quick shop and decided I was going to spoil myself with some mineralize blushes that I was secretly lusting for! I swatched all in store, picked two and we headed straight to the gate for our flight!

Rave review: theBalm Instain Long Wearing Staining Powder Blush!(Houndstooth and Pinstripe)

Instain and in love! For the ladies who also have a die hard love for blushes like me it's always hard to look away or over look new releases of raved off blush products! I would kill to own several tarte blushes and a baked Chanel one too but I'm really trying to control myself. I'd seen these several times at Sasa here in Singapore but held back for weeks and then I couldn't control myself any longer!

I just knew months ago that I would love to own several shades from them! According to other ladies reviews these are meant to be super long wearing, hence the 'stain' in the name and they also come in a few finishes, although all look very pigmented.

Rave Review: Cathy Doll Vit C Cookie Blusher in 01 Winter Red Tea!

Hand over that Cookie Blusher! Okay, so I have to admit that despite the HUGE amount of beauty items I bought when I had a holiday in Bangkok, Thailand last year (see my haul here!) I really regret not picking up more things! I know, I know, I have one face, two eyes, two cheeks, one big mouth and only 10 fingers and toes to apply things to!

Karmart is a korean beauty shop that has so many outlets all over bangkok and in this outlet at the entrance of a train station stop I just had to pick up this beauty of a baked blusher! I mean, just the marbelized finish caught my eye and how glowy it was on swatch! I also sent one to Pam from Jade in the Palace in a swap!

Review: L'oreal Lucent Magique Blush of Light Glow Palette in Duchess Rose!

Glowing cheeks with Lucent Magique! Several months ago I bought the L'oreal Lucent Magique foundation which is Asia's equivalent of the True Match Lumi and it was fantastic! See my review of the foundation here! It's super long wearing, has great coverage and makes your skin seems like it's glowing.

I had seen the blushes in this line a few times and finally decided to pick up the blush in Duchess Rose! It's a trio of colors of a dusty rose color, exactly my favorite type of blush color for any occasion!

Rave Review: Clio Art Blusher in 2 Pink!

Marble baked rosy blush! This blush was an impulse buy the moment I saw it on a blog sale on a local beauty blogger who I love and adore by the name of Juli from Bun Bun Makeup Tips (See blog sale here). Her blog is amazing for asian girls who want to become technical with eyeshadow placement as she has the best online guide for shadow placement and explanations of types of lids, and where to place what for desired effects! (See her amazing tutorial here, here, here and here!)

I didn't even know that this product was released or even sold locally in store so when I saw that she was selling this at a discount I jumped at the chance and HAD to get the beautiful marbled rose one!

Overview: My Catrice Defining Blush Collection!

My Catrice Blush Collection! Feast your eyes on my Catrice defining blush collection! For those who aren't aware, I freaking love blush! I used to be scared of blushes, scared I'd turn into my mother who wears mostly just lipsticks and blush but the last few years have turned me into a blush monster!

Catrice landed in Singapore's shores in early 2013 and since then I've been trying to try out all of their range from their blushes, quads, concealer and foundations! I've just gone nuts because the range sells here for a price range of $3-20 SGD which is amazing considering international drugstore brands start selling at $20 SGD!

Review: Manhattan Powder Rouge Tender Touch Blush in Elegant Violett!

Hand over that Powder Rouge! Blush, blush, blush...I never thought that I'd turn into such a blush hungry make up monster! Eyeing all blushes rose and berry, I can avoid repurchasing the same shades of eyeliner or eyeshadow and lipsticks but when it comes to blush, I literally cannot help it!

I just love rose and berry tones for blush! It's just such a strong love that it doesn't matter how many similar types of rosy toned blushes I have, I'll always be happy to own more and try more! This lovely drugstore piece was gifted to me from Pam from Jade in the Palace blog in our last beauty swap! (Check out our swap here)
