My Everday easy warm bronze eye!

Everyday bronze eye! Neutral eye looks have been my go to the last whole year! When I was younger I used to look at eye make up inspiration and always thought that I'd wear more colorful looks but the older I get I realize the simplicity and ease of a flawless neutral look. Here is an easy light bronzy eye look I did sometime back when I still had a full fringe! I'm currently just about done growing it out and plan to go fringeless for a while.

Rusty, bronzed and simple pretty warm eyes!

Warm, rusty and simply pretty! For those who live in temperate climates with spring, summer, fall and winter it seems like burgundy shades, rusts shades and cranberry type colors get very popular with the latter half of the year. However in Singapore where it's literally summer all year round wearing darker, rustier and reddish type shades are a matter of trends than season. I've always like warm shades but didn't always like cranberry tones until the last two years. Here is my simple rendition of a wearable pretty rusty bronze eye.

Pale peachy eyes and a glowing raspberry cheek! (French dinner at Petit Paradis)

A glowing look and a delicious dinner! Besides my usually smokey shimmery neutral eyes that I love doing I also have a soft spot just for shimmery peachy shades. The ones that are between beige, coral and pink. My favorite single shadows (my review here and here) for the last few years were from Red Earth, an Australian cosmetic line is now not as easy to find and these shadows are no longer sold from what I've researched.

On the day I wore this look I was going with my boyfriend to meet his father to watch his young brother perform in their school's end of year CHRISTMAS concert! Yes, that's how backlogged I am with my some blog posts!

New Year's Day look 2015: Shimmery beigey aubergine gradient!

New year, a new look! Yes, this post is super late! This was the look I created and wore on New Year's day this year! I wanted something neutral but jazzed up a bit and I knew I wanted to wear lashes and this pretty sequined top I had purchased from Forever 21! New year's day was nothing crazy for me, I went over to my boyfriend's for dinner and that was all I did that day!

FOTD: Simple Bright neutral eye look (pork rib noodles and chocolate cake)!

Simple, bright and neutral! Here's a typical type of neutral eye look that I usually will create for a day out! On days I'm home I'm always 100% bare faced but when I need to go into town this is a normal look I'd put on, it takes me about 30 minutes to do this! I love reaching for shimmery brown neutrals shades for bright looking eyes, paired with a pink cheek I'd say this is my 'go to' look!

On this day my parents and I went to visit a new small shopping mall that opened up recently near us! Even though there are quite a few eateries and restaurants there because of the large crowds since it's new we ate at a small food court. The food was surprisingly very good and then we headed to a small cafe for some dessert!

Wide awake eye look using 1028 Macaron palette and a delicious thai dinner!

Wide awake eyes! It's been trending and popular for years and is always a look most ladies would wear! Looking bright and wide awake is always a plus. I find that korean/japanese make up trends that usually use sheer colors or bright neutral shadows really help to create this 'wide awake' type look which is really flattering on everyone. This look is easily achieved with one single shadow or more if you'd like! Here I'm using shades from 1028's Macaron palette!

Totally taupe eyes with a mauvey rose cheek!

Totally Taupe! This very popular cool toned brown shade although is super popular and looks great on many ladies is a shade I rarely actually use. I tend to always gravitate towards bronzes, caramels, golden toned browns and other pinky toned neutrals. I do find taupe a very complementary shade on my eyes but personally prefer other tones and shades of browns.

When I do want an eye look with a taupe shade I gravitate towards a trio from Majolica Majorca which features a gorgeous rich silvery taupe shade! (see my review here)

My Perfect Smokey Pink-Brown eyes! (1028 Brownie Eyes Palette)

Perfect Smokey Pink-Brown Eyes! For many ladies a neutral eye look tends to be quite simple, maybe one shadow or two shades at most. Something light in color and wearable to the office or for the day time. However when I think of the perfect neutral eye it has depth, shimmer, some smokiness but all from neutral shades and no black eyeshadow!

This look is the epitome of my perfect type of smokey neutral eyes. It had pink and brown tones, bright and dark and lots of shimmer as well as being perfectly blended out thanks to the amazing quality of eyeshadow from my 1028 Brownie Eyes palette!

Everyday quick bronze eye and dusty rose lip!

An Everyday Bronze eye look! Let me be totally honest...I am super annoyed when ladies publish looks like this every other day. I personally will not post looks that are so visibly similar so close together or at all. I just find it annoying when people think using a slightly different crease shade makes your look 'another' look. I don't mean to sound snobby but as someone who loves eye make up I have done plenty of gorgeous neutral looks but I don't want to share but the best and most wearable ones!

It's sort of a bit funny that an effortless and pretty look like this which most ladies tend to wear when they're wearing make up out is a look I rarely have on. I either have no make up on at home, a basic face of powder, mascara and lip balm or a fully made up face!

Deep smoky brown eyes and a cherry pink lip! (Japanese lunch)

Japanese lunching! On this particular day I had a delicious lunch with my grandma and my mother at our favorite affordable Japanese restaurant franchise Ichiban Sushi! I've always loved Japanese cuisine and all other asian foods since I as young as I've always eaten all kinds of cuisines since I was young so it's not strange or unusual for the family to eat Pho, then ramen, then kebab and then curry!

For this day out it was going to be a simple day and I wanted something smoky, deep and easy and reached for my Too Face Natural Eye Kit!

Dusty rose eyes and a moist pink lip! (Giant dim sum lunch)

Delicate dusty rose eyes! When in doubt, I tend to go neutral and pinkish or shimmery rose shades to be specific! This look was done with my new Lorac Unzipped palette! I am a huge fan of shimmery and satin eyeshadows so steer away if you're looking for a matte shadow look!

The family went out to try a chinese restaurant down town which had a 40% off all their dim sum during lunchtime so we thought since they had such a wide dim sum menu we would head over and order one of almost everything!

First look with the Lorac Unzipped palette! (Pink bronze eyes)

Unzipped with Lorac! I am just another girl who is crazy over neutral palettes but not the matte only brown toned type of neutrals but the palettes with a range with pinks, bronze, golds and more! Surprisingly I don't own any of the Urban Decay Naked palettes but I would love to own the 3rd rose toned one in the near future!

This beautiful Unzipped palette caught my eye as all the shades are light or medium toned with lots of shimmer. This palette was out of stock in a local online store for months so when I saw this back in stock I bought it and it went straight out of stock a few days later!

Pink and brown brightening eyes with purple lips! (1028 Brownie Eyes palette)

Brownie eyes and purple lips! Yes, yes....I know I suck with coming up with names for looks, I am not creative in that sense at all! This was something I made when getting ready for a casual date evening with my boyfriend! I wanted to dig into my new 1028 Brownie neutral palette and then I wanted a hot pop of color on my lips!

Purple lips has something I've been interested in, as long as it's berry or pink based I'm quite happy with this sort of wearable purplish lip color! NYX Butter Gloss came to my calling!

Night out with pinky red lips! (Vietnamese dinner in Chinatown)

Night out with Sleek on my lips! This look was done a few weeks ago when I went for a long night out for drinks with my boyfriend and a group of old classmates. I needed something simple, pretty and long lasting so I decided to go brown on the eye with my favorite winged liner and then a Sleek lipstick!

Do check out my review of my collection of (Sleek's true color lipsticks here!)

Simple peachy eyes and lips! (FIFA meal at McDonalds)

Peachy Perfection! I'm not a girl who does one shadow looks very often but when I do the color has to be smooth and shimmery! I went with a peachy frost shade for the lid for a brightening and eye opening look! Paired with a pink satin blush and a peachy glossy lip this look is great for a simple pretty look for a casual out!

For lunch on the same day, my boyfriend and I decided to hit McDonald's and we had a delicious lunch that included a FIFA world cup chicken burger and yummy banana pie!

Pinky bronze eyes with Sleek and lunch at Chinatown!

Pink eyes and Chinatown lunch! When I'm feeling girly, feminine and want something simple and flirty I go with browns and pinks! The palette or range of shadows that will always come to mind is the Sleek Oh So Special palette! I love neutrals but I love pinks, golds and other shades to mix with them for pops of fun color.

My boyfriend and I had a delicious lunch at my favorite hawker center in Chinatown and we ate some Singapore food favorites before he had headed off to an interview!

Cherry red lips and gray eyes!

Date night look! So for those who have been following me for more than a year, it would have been rare to see me sporting bold lip colors! Not because I'm no fan of red or pink lips but because my lips are super sensitive, dry and peel like crazy! In the last few months I've been slowing getting back into using lip products and here I'm featuring a lipstick from Sleek!

The proud owner of 7 Sleek true color lipsticks (my review here) , all in the 'sheen' formula, these are super creamy, opaque in one layer and have a slightly glossy finish without being too slippery or moist. They last forever and look great without the need of blotting or touching up.

Simple two shade smokey deep brown eyes! (roast pork belly sweet sauce noodles)

Simple eyes for a simple day! I was off to an interview for a well known microbrewery here in Singapore that also serves food and decided to go with a super simple look! It's not often that I do one or two shadow looks but I've almost forgotten how simple, fast and enjoyable they are! I really should feature more super simple looks!
