Review: Revlon Lip Butters! (Cherry Tart, Lollipop, Pink Truffle)

Lip butters to the rescue! Yes, I know these have been out forever and aren't anything new but as a girl who suffers from constantly sensitive and dry lips these babies from Revlon have been a long time love of mine since they released in Singapore.

Unlike in the US, we did not receive all the colors sold in other countries at once. We still actually do not have all the shades sold in some countries. Regardless ever since my purchase of my first few back in 2012, I still use them regularly and love them!

Review: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain! (Precious, Rendevous, Lovesick)

Kissable...or so they say! I have actually exchanged some kisses with my other half wearing this and it does not transfer when dried! Yay for that!

Everyone in the beauty blogsphere has seem to have tried several or all of the shades from Revlons latest lippie product. However these arrived sometime in November last year which is much later than my western counterparts!

At a 20% sale, I grabbed one for myself, then ended up getting my mother to get me another and one for herself as well! I also helped a friend picked one when I was with her on the same day I discovered they were selling!

Review: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters in Berry Smoothie, Brown Sugar, Strawberry Shortcake! (050, 020, 080)

Balmy, shiny, Lip Butters! I'd believe by now everyone has heard of these babies? Colored balms in a lipstick case, don't you just love how their case matches the shade of the product? I do! Things like this just like Bourjois single blush packaging really gives a product a fun and practical quality!

I picked these three up seperately and when there was 20% sale for revlon products! I bought Brown sugar first a few months ago, then Berry Smoothie and most recently Strawberry shortcake!

Quick look: Revlon Superlustrous lipgloss in Nude lustre! (comparison to other nude glosses)

Something I picked up last year but was dying to try after hearing a lot about how the consistency of this line from Revlon is apparently one of the best lipglosses drugstore wise by lots of beauty gurus online!

I picked up a nude shade of course, easy to wear and to layer! love the shade! I'm comparing it to an NYX and Majolica Majorca lipglosses also of a nude color.

Quick look: Revlon Colorburst Lipbutter in Brown Sugar! (swatches!)

It's official! I spotted Revlon colorburst lip butters just about two weeks ago at Watsons, Gaurdian and at Revlon stands in NTUC! I grabbed a copy of the advert pamphlet laying tucked away at the side!

The bad news is that we only have 8 shades out of 21! Boo hoo!!

I picked up 020 Brown sugar with a 20% off at Watsons so I paid about $12 SGD instead of the U.P. of $15.95!

FOTD: Simple smoky light brown

The last whole week has been exam week in my school and contrary to how I notice some other people turn up to exams...eg, tired, nervous, dressed down I've been having way too much fun with my make up and dressing a bit nicer.

Ever since I've been wearing eye make up almost on a daily basis I've also at the same time waken up earlier so that I'd have enough allocated time to do my make up. It's quite a good thing actually I find, helps to keep the morning rush to a minimum now that I've made the 'extra' time in the morning.

This was something really simple I did for a smoky light brown look, very wearable and easy to create.

This look could be easily done with any type of medium/dark brown, hightlight shadow and a brown eyeliner. Personally I enjoy shimmery/satin finishes as they really add dimension to my small lids!

Love how it looks natural and yet brings a glow to the entire face!
