Rave Skincare Review: Bioderma Sebium H20!

Bioderma me! I picked this up last summer when visiting my best friend who was studying at my old international school in Phnom Penh Cambodia. At the french pharmacy in town 'De la gare' or 'train station' in english. Ever since hearing so much about Bioderma online, youtube and reviews on the crealine make up remover, I saw this in store and for such a good price I knew another toner in my collection would be great.

Check out my skincare and make up haul from Cambodia here!

Continue below for the details and review!

Bioderma Sebium H20 Micelle Solution combination or oily skin toner 500ml
As the description reads, this formulation is for oilier skin and its meant to help reduce and regulate the skin.
At $22 USD for the 500ml bottle, I thought it was a steal.
Packaging & Product!

Easily spotted, the pale blue liquid in a bottle with a green cap with the bolded word 'Bioderma', there's not much as usual to say about the packaging except that when you first start using the full 500ml, it maybe a bit cumbersome to hold the entire bottle.

Interestingly enough I was looking for the very much raved about make up remover formula and at the time had never heard of this one anywhere on youtube. I thought this was just as much applicable for my slightly oilier skin type.

The toner has a lovely light smell, not chemically, not florally, just pleasant and something I can take. It doesn't leave the skin feeling very tight but there is a feeling of a top layer of oil being removed. Your skin feels soft and oil free after using, not dry like some oil stripping toners.

So far I used this regularly towards the end of last year and now and again when my skin doesn't feel very oily. I don't know if it's really helped although now I don't have the tiny oil bumps on the side of my face anymore! This may have contributed to the reduction of that.

Bioderma Sebium H20 Micelle Solution combination or oily skin toner 500ml
Paid: $22 USD or about $27 SGD

(This is very worth it as a 150 or 200 ml crealine in singapore  cost $19.90 SGD)

Recommend: For those with slightly oilier skin types this maybe something good to try if your skin get dry easily by toners!

Repurchase: Yes, I've used this quite sparingly for now considering I bought it last June I still have more than 60% left! I really like it and hope singapore brings this in, in a big size which is currently not available!

Bottom line: A very clearing and cleansing toner, it may not be magic but it sure leaves the skin feeling and smelling very good. I'd give this a try if you are looking for a new toner!

What do you think of Bioderma products?
Tried any of them?

  9. This is the first time I heard of this product. I wonder if I'm even able to find it here in the US. They should sell this in a smaller bottle too. It's huge!
