Tropical Sunset eyes! (Purple, coral and pink with coastal scents)

Sunset eyes! Having owned my 26 shadow and blush palette from coastal scents for a while now I haven't touched it much and realized that I really need to start using it! The colors that jump out most to me from the palette are the warm bronze, golden and coral shades! My eyes also jumped straight to the purple shades and I knew I wanted to use it in the crease!

From my knowledge most ladies tend to go neutral when they go to school or work but if I can and have the time to think up something this is what I come up with!

Rave Review: 1028 Visual Therapy Brownie Eyes eyeshadow palette!

Brownie Eyes palette! Are you ladies a lover of neutrals like I am? Do you own the Naked palette? The Too Faced neutral eye kit? The Lorac Pro? Mac neutral palette? I on the other hand although I love eyeshadows I do not own that many eyeshadow palettes of the neutral sort! 

I was so happy to see this asian brand which I believe is from Taiwan selling at John Little Plaza Singapura and also now at Watsons! There were two versions of this 6 pan neutral palette and I chose this one although the other one had a pretty peach shade I really loved!

Purple brown smokey eye with the Urban Decay Smoked palette!

Purple brown smokey eyes! Wearable, sexy, warm and with a kick of purple! I knew I was going to do all kinds of smoky looks with color when I got the Smoked palette from Urban Decay from my boyfriend! I had lusted after the palette forever and loved how the colors were cool toned and metallic and would work so well with the other browns in the palette! 

I was on my way to an interview for the current part time job that I've had now for more than a month at a very well to do and successful restaurant here in Singapore and thought I would doll up a bit! I hadn't used the purple shade Rockstar yet and decided to go for it!

Summer Skincare 2014! (What I'm using right now)

Summertime Skincare Products! I'm not sure if many of my dear followers have noticed but I don't often do overviews or round ups of products, either make up or skincare as it's not really something I'm used to doing. However since it's still 'summer' in most places around the world right now although we get 'summer' weather ALL YEAR ROUND in Singapore, I thought I'd share what I'm using right now!

Keep in mind, it's always between 28-35+ degree C and humidity is always 85% to 95% hence I use pretty much the same type of products all year around. However what I have here is a bit different from my last skincare overview many months back!

Rave Review: Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash!

Shadow stash! For those who haven't tried any eyeshadow sticks before you really need to jump on the bandwagon! I've tried eyeshadow pencils from Kiko and Urban Decay only as we don't have Milani or Jordana and I haven't bought any from any others. I really would love to have some from cheap brands that apparently have very good formulas.

This set was a complete steal as I got it on sale for $30 SGD from an online store "Doll to Doll Cosmetics" run by local beauty blogger Juli! I have been absolutely loving this set to death!

Pomegranate passion! How many fruity scent crazy people do I have here? Are you like me and just about love every single fruity, fresh and sweet scent? I love fruity smells and the more natural it smells the more I love it. Beauty Buffet in Thailand carries a great range of fruit/vegetable skincare bits and I fell in love with the super strong sweet and complex pomegranate scent and had to pick up two different body products!

Flirty date night look with a hot pink lip! (Dim sum congee dinner!)

Be flirty and go pink! This look was put together in under 45 minutes as I was getting ready to meet my lovely boyfriend for dinner after his work! I wanted something simple, flawless and pretty! Hence I thought of big lashes and a bold pout! Power to big fun falsies and a pink pout!

After meeting the boyfriend we heading around the corner in Chinatown to one of my favorite places for congee porridge and dim sum!

Review: MUA Power Pout Colour Instense Tint & Balm in Crazy in Love!

Pretty Power Pout! How many of you lady fancy a bold, glossy, deep and beautiful polished pout? I have been amazed by all the crayon lip products released the last two years and have been getting one from each brand's line to try how their formulas work for me! I asked for one from the brand MUA when arranging a swap with the lovely Pam from Jade in the Palace blog! See the swap here!

I was so excited when Pam picked out this deep berry shade for me and on my first few uses I knew this was going to be something I'd be 'Crazy in Love' with!

Meet up with an old Highschool classmate! (Purple golden eyes with Sleek's Vintage Romance Palette)

Purple gold! That's what I think of when I did this eye look! I've done very similar in the past with the Vintage Romance palette from sleek and that's because I'm in love with the purples and gold shades! I love how there are cool and warm shades of purple and a bronze and light gold in the same palette! 

On the same day of this look, I met up again with an old highschool and classmate from Cambodia, she had studied there at the international school all her life and I met her when I moved there for grade 6! We were so keen on meeting up again as I've only managed to meet up with her three times the last two years!

Review: Stila it gloss lip shimmer in 07 Amazing!

Are you an 'It' girl? I just loved the name of this gloss when I saw it! 'It gloss', I straight away think of the term 'it girl' which to me would be the all around perfect glamorous well to do lady who wears a good amount of make up day to day! Anyway...! This was a lovely gift in a swap I did with the lovely Pam from Jade in the Palace blog! Check the parcel she sent me in our swap here!

I've owned very few Stila products but my past experience with their lip glaze was not amazing as I was young, didn't know what to do with make up and wore a lot of things that didn't suit me!

Shopping haul for June! Although I have done quite well the last few months with a lot less online purchases and major hauls I've made it a point to pick up some sale or very worth while simple bits last months when the Great Singapore Sale started! I didn't get anything so special or exciting but definitely looks of good pieces that I will be wearing the heck out of!

Mom and I had gone into the more casual Crystal Jade restaurant outlet and we both ordered the lunch set which was a choice of noodle and a dim sum!

Review: Mikatvonk Super 3 Smart BB Cream!

Super Smart BB cream! By now everyone in both the western and asian beauty world would know about BB creams and how they're usually a great foundation alternative for those of fair/ light-medium skintones. I personally love and prefer high coverage bb creams and usually always wear them set with powder. Its common that bb creams are a bit grey/ashy or just too light but in the last few years more and more brands have much more wearable neutral/yellow toned shades.

This product was kindly sent to me by the Olive Tree Pacific company in Singapore! Only a few months ago they kindly asked if I was interested to review a new eyeliner by the brand "Perfect" which I have reviewed here!

Night out with pinky red lips! (Vietnamese dinner in Chinatown)

Night out with Sleek on my lips! This look was done a few weeks ago when I went for a long night out for drinks with my boyfriend and a group of old classmates. I needed something simple, pretty and long lasting so I decided to go brown on the eye with my favorite winged liner and then a Sleek lipstick!

Review: Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brightening GelCreme Makeup in 02 Warm Porcelain!

Gel Creme foundation! Maybe to the surprise of many, a crazy beauty fiend like myself has actually owned very few high end foundations and currently I own none! High end foundations usually retail from $45-100 SGD here, even MUFE and Urban Decay's foundations cost $60-70 which is much pricier than in other countries! Hence although I spend plenty of money on make up and skin care I've yet to fork out one lump sums on a single product!

After coming across a local beauty blog BunBun make up tips by Juli, I had to get a few things that were so worth getting! One was a baked blush from Clio I already reviewed here! Another was this product which didn't hold up on her oilier skin so I thought I'd give it a shot!

Simple peachy eyes and lips! (FIFA meal at McDonalds)

Peachy Perfection! I'm not a girl who does one shadow looks very often but when I do the color has to be smooth and shimmery! I went with a peachy frost shade for the lid for a brightening and eye opening look! Paired with a pink satin blush and a peachy glossy lip this look is great for a simple pretty look for a casual out!

For lunch on the same day, my boyfriend and I decided to hit McDonald's and we had a delicious lunch that included a FIFA world cup chicken burger and yummy banana pie!

Skincare sets from Shu Uemura! These two sets of skincare from Shu Uemura were purchased at Bangkok International Airport when I was on a week long holiday in Bangkok last year with my mother! I have always wanted to try skincare bits from Shu Uemura but have never taken the plunge with any products so when presented with sets of smaller sizes I had to snap them up!

Home made food for June 2014!

Home made Nosh! For those who love food and hearty home made dishes this post is for you! I love cooking at home and it's something that might not be as active when I go overseas to study in the near future! I will always love preparing my own food but if I'm tight for budget or time I don't think I'll be able to carry on at the level that I do things until I get settled!

Mint teal green gradient eye look with a matte rose lip!

Make me mint! After seeing several ladies sporting mint looks I knew I had one up my sleeves when I saw the pretty matte mint shade in my Sleek Snapshots palette. I've been coming up with all sorts of looks ever since I owned the beauty. Here I used three colors from the palette for the bright and wearable look! 

Also I am very happy to report that I've found a matte liquid lipstick that doesn't make my lips peel or feel dry, the Bourjois Rouge velvets!!! I've bought 3 already, and that says a lot as they are $25SGD or about $20 USD here a piece!

Rave review: MUA (Makeup Academy) Heaven and Earth palette!

Heaven and Earth! MUA has always been a brand I've been keen to try from before I got my first Sleek palette! They have been famous for these 12 pan eye palettes, they have so many out and they are mostly of all really great quality. I've had my eye on their neutral palettes the moment I learnt about these babies and was so fortunate to have an old school friend of mine Becky gift this to me a while back!

I didn't touch this baby for a while since I've been loving the Undress palette form them and the Oh So Special from Sleek but after starting to use this I've loved it so much!

Cool blue eyes and peach lips! (home made apple crumble)

The colors Blue me away! Yes, yes! Cheesy sounding I know! It's just that I'm a giant fan of blues and I don't actually wear them very often on my eyes. However ever since owning the Coastal Scents Smokey palette which is a colorful 36 shadow palette I've been reaching back to the blue section for blue looks! (Check out my review of the palette here!)

I was feeling like a bright happy (funnily not blue) day and I decided to open my bad boy palette up again for another blue look! On the same day I also baked two big apple crumbles, one for my family, the other for my boyfriends!
