Mint teal green gradient eye look with a matte rose lip!

Make me mint! After seeing several ladies sporting mint looks I knew I had one up my sleeves when I saw the pretty matte mint shade in my Sleek Snapshots palette. I've been coming up with all sorts of looks ever since I owned the beauty. Here I used three colors from the palette for the bright and wearable look!

Also I am very happy to report that I've found a matte liquid lipstick that doesn't make my lips peel or feel dry, the Bourjois Rouge velvets!!! I've bought 3 already, and that says a lot as they are $25SGD or about $20 USD here a piece!

Continue below for the pretty mint look!
Mint teal green gradient eye look with a matte rose lip! (Sleek Snapshots palette and Bourjois rouge velvet lip color)
Mint teal green gradient eye look using Sleek's Snapshots palette! A pretty look for summer!
I used Summer Breeze on the inner lid, Green Iguana on my lid, Coastal Scents dark matte green in the outer V and Kiwi Flower in the crease!

I went with a light rosy nude cheek using my latest blush from Catrice and then I wanted a nudish looking lip. However the shade Nud-ist was NOT nude at all on my lips!

Products Used: Sleek Snapshots i-divine palette, MUA Undressed palette, Biore UV Aqua watery mousse, Rimmel Stay Matte Mousse, ZA two way powder foundation, Catrice blush in Rose Royce, Revlon matte (for brows), Maybelline color tattoo in Edgy Emerald, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nudist, Perfect Black pen eyeliner, Kate lash extension mascara, Kiss Me Heroine long & curl mascara!
The dark green in the outer V is the matte deep green in the Coastal Scents Smokey Palette!
On my cheeks is my newest and new favorite blush from Catrice in Sunrose Avenue!
I would love to bring color on my lower lash line but I have such watery eyes I don't take the risk.
What do you think of these mint, teal and green?
On my lips is Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick in Nud-ist. It shows up as such a rosy shade on my lips! I have super pink lips naturally.
I used the mint, teal and green or Summer Breeze, Green Iguana and Kiwi Flower!
My boyfriend and his tired face after work! We were instead a busy little chinese cafe!
The place is small but it was super packed and our food took a while!
A giant plate of stir fried dou miao vegetable! Or baby bean shoots, so tender and yummy!
Sweet and sour pork spare ribs! Delicious and the pork was so tender!
Salted fish, black bean and bean sprout fried rice! Wetter than I'd prefer but it was so tasty!
A mountain of cucumber and pig's ear salad! This was sooo good! But there was too much cucumber although there was lots of jellied pig's ear! The sauce was so good, black vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil and chilli oil!
The appetizer sadly came last so we couldn't finish it because we were so full!

A mint teal green eye look, light warm rose on the cheek and a deep matte rose on the lips!
I wore this out to go meet the boyfriend for dinner but before heading his way I stopped by and walked around Sephora downtown in Orchard Ion. One of the beauty advisers commented on how she loved my eye make up and that she was surprised as so few chinese girls (especially in singapore) wear any colors if at all brights on the eyes!

I was checking out the prices of the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation, their setting spray and some other pieces. The foundation is $62, spray $48 and the Naked palettes are all $83 each, tarte blushes are $42 each...yeah...the prices are jacked up like crazy here. All prices are Singapore dollars, respectively they are $50, $38, $66 and $33 USD.

I still plan on buying the foundation, I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it in store or order on beauty bay but then I'm thinking it might not be worth my time waiting so long to save $10 when I can also get points in store!

Would you care to try this combination of mint, green and teal?
Tried the Bourjois matte rouge yet?
Let me know!

Feel free to comment!
Thank you!

  2. Another lovely look from you!! you surely can pull off any kind of colors on the eyes! I sadly can't wear too bright colors as I always think they look too much on me, so I usually stay with earth tones, or plum-burgundy shades ^^
