Rave Review: Canmake powder cheeks blush in PW 18 & PW 24 (swatches!)

Oh gosh, I've been wanting to post this for a bit! Waited until I'd actually got a chance to wear both colors to speak about the pigmentation and wear! Every chance I get to swatch these blushes I always want them all! They are fantastic in all ways and I hope for more in the near future!

I only brought PW24 (bronze shade) with me on a week long trip I took now a week ago back to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to visit my classmates...I'm not into bronzing at all but I thought this would be a nice sheen to the cheeks when applied sheer.

I was completely taken in by how gorgeous it looked sheer and packed onto the cheeks! It's a go-to blush now!

Continue below for close ups, swatches and a FOTD with PW 24!

Canmake Powder Cheeks blush in PW 24 & PW 18! All in Japanese!!!

Small nylon blush brush included! Fairly dense looking but thin when squeezed (does that make sense?)

But unfortunately very small...although it's of excellent quality...this would be useful for highlighting. I like bigger brushes for blush...
 Packaging!

Much like the Canmake Cheek & Cheek blush I've already reviewed here, the packaging is quite standard for most Japanese/Korean cosmetics. In clear plastic that's fairly sturdy, the top can come off but it's made so that it can be clipped back on easily.

I don't have issues with clear plastic, I can see what's inside and because there is no indication in english of how much product there is I can estimate that I'm getting quite a nice deal of product.

It says "Canmake Powder Cheeks" on the lid in a reflecting text which I find cute, the blushes come with small brushes just like the one in the Cheek & Cheek blush duo from them. It's of high quality nylon but they are too small and not dense enough to apply adequate amount of blush in a few strokes.

Canmake Powder Cheeks blush in PW 18, swatched once and blended.

PW18 has a lovely satin type finish...great for a naturally flushed look

Canmake Powder Cheeks blush in PW 24...a lovely light bronze with a hint of pink...

This shade has visible golden shimmer bits but they're very fine...

Canmake Powder Cheeks blush in PW 18 & PW 24...just lovely!

Product!

Firstly....as described on the English Canmake website...

PW 18- Apricot Pink (I don't think I'd say it's an 'apricot' pink but it's definitely 'bright' and great for a 'lively look'...I'd called it more of a light raspberry cream pink

PW 24- Caramel Orange (Their description is perfect. It does 'blend' into the skin perfectly and is 'sophisticated and sweet')

These blushes are as if they are made of 'micro-particles', they are so fine and so incredible soft texture wise. Both shades have a satin finish although PW 24 (Caramel Orange) has visible golden shimmer.

They applied very well, smooth and evenly, PW 18 (Apricot Pink) could be made to be very dark with a heavy hand so I buffed out a bit when I used it. Whereas PW 24 (Caramel Orange) is a shade where no matter how much you apply, it was never too heavy looking! the shade is such a natural color on my cheeks, between a pink/light bronze glow)

They wore very well on top of liquid foundation (that set) and powder foundation and lastly throughout the day, I can easily put these into my make up bag too!

Here is a FOTD I did when I went to visit my classmates in Cambodia...I only brought PW 24 and had one more blush in the Lancome Absolu Voyage Palette de Maquillage... I reviewed here!

I swear I used PW 24! I was so pleasantly surprised by the pinkiness it had when applied heavily!

FOTD with Canmake Powder Cheeks blush in PW 24 Caramel Orange (I packed it on, has a light pinky/bronzy look on the cheeks, just brilliant!)

Paid: $S14.90 ($12 USD) per blush (One of the cheaper single blushes at the drugstore!)

Repurchase: YES! I would definitely be looking into a few more...quite interesting in the other brownish/pinky shades...

Recommend: Totally! Do swatch them in store, I think these will be great for beginners and people who want something easy to wear everyday.

Bottom Line: Great quality and I love them loads, I'd say the range of colors is of sweet pinks/oranges. These would be a nice addition for anyone who'd like to try japanese products and for blush lovers of course! I will be going back for a shade or two more!

Have you tried any Canmake products/blushes? What's your 'go to' or 'natural' blush?
