Rave Review: Glamourflage Lip Balms (Mellow May, Bijou Beo, Daisy Delight, Bella Blaze)!

Glamourflage Lip Balm! For those who cannot live without a good rich luxurious lipbalm...HIGH FIVE! Since I was young, my lips tend to get very dry very easily. I must mention that I am extremely hydrated, I drink the most liquids out of all my friends and also colleagues and even at home but still my lips are always on the border of being dry or are dry most the time. For me it's key to have a thick layer of lipbalm before sleeping every night.

I've tried so many brands of lip balm, most from the drugstore and a lot from random high end, medical and trending brands. Many balms have been just okay or keep my lips hydrated enough to feel 'normal' but are not rich enough to heal my lips back from a dry spell. I gave this brand a chance when I saw it selling on a local beauty site and ever since then I've yet to try anything else better.

Packaging & Product!

For those who haven't seen before Glamourflage is packaged similarly to Benefit! Their packaging is very reminiscent of pin up girls from the 1950s and 1960s. Glamourflage has a range of skincare products but I've ever only tried these lipbalms and as the line isn't accessible to me I haven't tried anything else yet. The lipbalms come in a very large 20ml tin which is lovely! Most stick lipbalms are around 5 grams and for me although tins and tubs aren't the most hygienic as you will always be putting your finger or an applicator inside I very much like how light and compact the product is. This line also has very detailed information on the back of the tin which is a plus to those who are keen on ingredient information!

These lipbalms are absolutely perfect when it comes to a rich, formula that's enriching and healing! It won't just hydrate your lips but will heal cracked, dry, perpetually-on-the-edge-of-drying-up-lips! The ingredients are to thank for the moist, buttery, melty texture such as castor oil, mineral oil and lanolin just amongst a few of the ingredients. Personally I've tried bee's wax balms and various balms with oils and those with oils and natural oils especially tend to be the most comfortable and heeling. I find that Bella Blaze (Honey Lemon) and Lotus Lily (Tangerine) for some reason seem the most emolient. I find it comfortable to wear these in the day and in the night.

The ones with a tint of color such as Bijou Beo and Daisy Delight give a lovely light pink tint and although all of the balms have a scent like peach, chocolate and cherry the scent does not linger. I'd have to say that these are a life saver for those who can't seem to find a drugstore chapstick that does the job. A layer of this at night and any lips in need will be healed very quickly and feeling supple! This balm feels slightly slick but not oily, it really sinks into the lips and doesn't just sit on the lips like a waxier product might.

Paid: $125 HK or about $22 SGD or $16 USD per lipbalm

Recommend: YES! Absolutely! Even if your lips aren't constantly on the verge of dying of being dry like mine, this would be a lovely and luxurious feeling balm and you literally won't need any other balm ever again I swear.

Repurchase: YES. I'm currently ordering these directly from Glamourflage's Hong Kong website which ships to Singapore, you may also order this from their Aussie website if you are down under!

Bottom line: A seriously quality product, this balm has restorative powers beyond my understanding! The emollient quality of the balm and how it sinks into the lips makes it great for wearing anytime of day to either heal or keep lips supple. I honestly will never stop buying this unless it's discontinued!
