Review: Etude House Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint in Lychee!

It's time for Dessert Pudding! For those who are fans of asian make up brands and like lip stains and tints this product is a coming together of the cuteness of asian beauty products together with a strong sturdy lip product. This product was released back before December last year which was around the time which I got it. This product was so cute and alluring that although I rarely buy pot lipcolor I just had to get this to try!

Packaging!

First off all the items from the Christmas Collection 2015 are super cute. From the Shrek Ginger Breadman blush and bronze/highlight powders to these pudding tints and hand creams, everything is super adorable. Packaging fiends and those who love a cute, pretty looking product will definitely be happy to own one of these pots. Each flavor and shade has a different dessert on top of the cap matching the name of the shade.

From the box of the pudding tint it's unanimous that this product is super cute.  The packaging looks like a present already wrapped up and ready to be gifted with the ribbon on top! Hence this product is literally a perfect little gift ready for giving straight away. The product is in a compact glass tub holding 5 grams of product.
All five shades from the Pudding Tint line! One deep red, one light coral and two orange type shades. I went for Lychee because I prefer pinkier tones and something not too dark and intense.

My bare lips! My lips are quite pink and get dry very easily hence I avoid tints and stains for the most part.

Product!

Much like its name, this product does have a pudding type of texture which is like a thick gelatin that's just set. This product has a lovely light sweet fruity scent and this shade lychee has a gorgeous transparent light pink color in the pot. Once you pick up the product with your fingers to apply, it goes on very easily and has a glossy finish. The color changes in seconds once it is applied and will leave a stain on the fingers hence the applicator which is included.

I've used the applicator which is very handy however because it isn't like a regular lip brush when you press to spread the product isn't as evenly distributed. I'd rather use a lip brush instead of the little spatula although it does an okay job as this product stains quite easily even if you don't apply it all over immediately but bit by bit. The pudding tint leaves your lips looking gorgeously colored and glossy although on me after about 30 mins it feels a bit dry.

This stain has a good lasting power and unless you're eating it stays put for an hour or more which is a really long time for a colored lipbalm on me. I enjoy wearing this on days when I'm doing minimal make up as this stays put and there is no need for maintenance!

Etude House Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint in Lychee!
Paid: $13.90 or about $10 USD

Recommend: Yes! These pudding tints are easy to use, low maintenance and really give a gorgeous color on the lips! Anyone could pull this product off, do go ahead and check them out!

Repurchase: No, as although I really do like this product and continue to use it I actually rarely use tints and stains due to how they are more drying which doesn't help my already always dry lips.

Bottom line: A super cute product that is also a performer. This gives great color, has a glossy finish although a bit heavy feeling, would still make a nice gift!

Have you tried any balm tints like this from an Asian brand?
What products from Etude House do you have?

i was surprised by how pigmented mine was and not drying. i was expecting it to be a alcohol-y lip tint thing but the color really holds up! i didn't find mine too drying though so i guess i won out on this one, whereas you didn't :(
