Special: Year End Collective Haul 2015! (Chanel, Shiseido, Clinique, Bourjois, Etude House)

Year end collective haul time! Last year I did a big collective shopping haul and not surprisingly I have one yet again for the end of 2015! I've started a new job that's been going great since November and so my blog has slowed down a bit recently as I've been getting used to my new schedule. I did give myself the go ahead to spend lots of money in December as I've been very good the last half year on a low buy period. I rarely ever indulge in high end products and made up my mind that I was going to satisfy myself with products that I've wanted forever and still had on my shopping list!

Everything in this haul was purchased over November and December on many different occasions! I finally got myself a fancy, expensive skincare product which I've been thinking about getting for a long time. I picked up two drugstore foundations on a whim, ordered three holy grail lip balms, finally managed to get a black beauty blender, picked up the super pretty clinique cheek pop blush, bought a lip stain product on impulse and got a gorgeous lipgloss from an unexpected place.

Continue below for my collective beauty haul!

Year end collective haul 2015! Makeup, skincare and other bits!
After having gone through 3 tubs of two flavors of this lip balm from the Australian brand Glamourflage (the honey lemon and tangerine) I decided to look into ordering the other scents, Mellow May (chocolate), Bijou Bec (raspberry) and Daisy Delight (cherry)! I couldn't order from Singapore sites. I got these babies from their Hong Kong site which price turned out to be great considering free shipping!
Here are the Glamourflage lipbalms in Mellow May (chocolate), Bijou Bec (raspberry) and Daisy Delight (cherry)! So far I've found that Daisy Delight is just a touch less moisturizing and oily than the tangerine and honey lemon ones I've tried but just as amazing. These are my holy grail and can repair/rehydrate my lips no matter what over night!
Bourjois Air Mat foundation! I just HAD to get it, not only did it feel great but Bourjois always has my exact shade match! I've already gotten around to using this and it's great.
Maybelline White Superfresh liquid powder foundation! I have already tried the pressed powder from this line but it didn't work for me strangely! It never seemed to set my foundation and I didn't feel like it was 'matte', this is suppose to be a liquid to powder formula and I can't wait to use it!
Something fun from Etude House! From the Snowy Dessert collection, the pudding lip tint in Lychee!
Etude House pudding lip tint in Lychee!
Etude House pudding lip tint in Lychee! It's a pretty translucent pink color but leaves the lips with a light natural berry stain color!
Indulged a BIG BUNCH of monies into this skin serum from Shiseido for lightening the pigmentation I have on the tops of my cheeks! I've tried several products from the White Lucent line and decided to take the plunge and get this!
Shiseido White Lucent Total Brightening Serum! It's only 30ml but the packaging makes it look like double the amount. Fancy fancy and super damn pricey at $160.

FINALLY! After months of the black beauty blender not being available at local beauty shops, online beauty stores, I finally found the black one at Sephora in stock! And IT IS better than cheaper sponges I've used! Loving it!
The black beauty blender! Love the texture, how it applies and how well it stays in shape and looks stain free after regular washing.
Clinique cheek pop blush! I've been wanting to get this blush for years now! Omg! I finally went ahead and got it at Sephora! It's too bad we only have the 4 original shades and none of the new gorgeous shades.
Cheek pop blush in plum pop! I was soooo conflicted and wanted to get berry but the Sephora I was at didn't have a tester for me to swatch and I was too impatient and didn't think of just going to the departmental store literally a 5 minute walk away to the clinique counter so I just got this baby!
Treated myself to Chanel's Illusion d'ombre cream eyeshadow in illusoire!
Chanel's Illusion d'ombre cream eyeshadow in illusoire! The shade is a gorgeous plum toned brown with lots of rainbow fine shimmer! The texture is incredible and this looks amazing alone!
Surprise! I didn't drop by Sephora for months until December as I rarely go there so when the girl at the check out realized that I hadn't picked up my free birthday product she told me I was getting this cute trio shadow set and a calendar!
These are super cute single shadows, two browns, one cool toned, one warm toned and a pretty pearlescent highlight shade! I really love them all and their shimmery finish!
The most beautiful lilac gloss with multicolored shimmer from Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush! I've never owned any beauty products from them and still don't plan on buying any except their fun lippies!
Here's an extra bit to my year end haul! These are two books I bought for my boyfriend's 10 year old brother! He's really gotten into reading the last two years and he has loved all the books I've gotten him so I thought books would be a great Christmas gift!
For my boyfriend's dad I got him a pint of Memminger Weissebier and Floreffe Abbey beer of which he's told me he loves the Floreffe!
A super lovely Christmasy Yankee Candle set my boyfriend's dad got me! I'm a huge fan of YC and haven't gotten myself any new ones the last whole year so this definitely made my day!
My boyfriend's visiting grandmother got me a lovely and classic perfume from DKNY! I've always loved the pink apple but have always wanted to try the golden and green versions. Been wearing this regularly as I own very few perfumes and rarely full size bottles.
Year end collective haul 2015! Makeup, skincare and other bits!
So there we go! I definitely spent too much money in December but it was really worth it! I've got myself a new job so everything was sort of a reward and gift as well as purchases which I wanted to make a long time ago which finally happened!

For those who celebrated Christmas, happy belated Christmas! For me here in Singapore, the biggest thing of the year is coming up soon next month...Chinese New Year! My family or more specifically my mother and I have been stocking up on the lunar new year goodies and I'll be taking photos for a post on it!

Hope everyone enjoyed this collective haul!

  2. Hello Sharlynn!!
Great haul! I'm curious to hear your thought on the Shiseido serum. It's not available in Germany, but my sister has been wanting to try that one too.
I had the Clinique cheek pop in the same color! But sadly the formula was not my cup of tea. But it is soooo pretty though!

And the Chanel Illusion D'Ombre eye shadows are amazing! I hope you're going to love it as much as I do. They're worth the splurge ^^

and CNY is on the corner! I feel the most homesick during CNY huhu, sadly won't be going home this year for CNY :(

  3. Awh congrats on your new job, you definitely deserve to treat yourself!
I've never heard of Glamourflage, their packaging is so cute. I've never seen that Maybelline White Superflash range either, the packaging reminds me laundry detergent or something haha! I love the things I've tried from the Maybelline Japan range though and I always check them out in HK when I'm there.
The Etude House lip jelly thing looks so yummy LOL. I have the same Chanel Illusion D'ombre, can't wait to see what you do with it.
I picked up a giant Yankee Candles from some random homeware store that was closing down and I"m obsessed. I have the chocolate cake one and it smells sooooo heavenly. I burn it heaps and I'm only 1/3 of the way done with it.

  9. I love the Clinique Cheek products! I don't have that blush color, but they're all so amazing.

Oh, I recently had to throw away my Etude House pudding tint :( It started leaking and stained a bunch of things a bright pink. I was so sad.

  10. Wowieeee! So many awesome goodies! Despite living in Australia, I've never heard of the brand Glamourflage- the packaging is very similar to The Balm though. I'm pretty interested in these items too! Base products and the eyeshadows , good picks. That Shiseido bottle though.. X.X so luxe!

  11. Hi Sharlynn,

I'm catching up on blogosphere now. What a lot of updates ad such a bountiful beauty haul! Do let me know how the shiseido lightening product work on you. I've got lots of freckles on my cheek that seem to have become permanent. I heard that only laser could zap them away yet I'm also told that not all skin is suitable for laser. Would be good if the spots could just lighten.

I hope that you continue to be happy in your new job. That's really important! Thank you for your heartfelt comment on my sad post a while back. Really appreciate it when the comments continue to come in despite being so inactive on my blog.

Happy lunar new year and may the year ahead be one filled with lots of good health and joy. xo
