First look using Dior Color Design Travel Palette! (Duty Free Exclusive)

Bringing you a face full of Dior! Today's entire look features products from this duty free exclusive palette from Dior that I picked up back in January while shopping for make up at Bangkok's airport! For those familiar with Dior's eyeshadows, they are buttery, smooth and tend to have a gorgeous payoff. Their original Diorshow mascara also is pretty damn amazing despite having such a giant brush head. Also I've been a huge fan of their Addict Ultra glosses for their amazing glassy finish and micro shimmer! Considering how I loved these experiences with their products I just held my breath and put this in my basket!

The one thing to consider before getting this is whether or not you are a match for the concealer and powder included which are the only choices in terms of color. These face products best match someone of NC20-25, those who are slightly tanner could use them to highlight under the eyes and on the cheeks!

Rave Review: Marc Jacobs Shameless Bold Blush in 216 Rebellious!

Be Shameless, be Bold! For the ladies who have followed me for a while and who have noticed my heated love affair with blushes, rouge for the cheeks and any powder that is of a pink or raspberry tone this review should come as no surprise! I had hauled this baby at the end of last year as part of my first Sephora haul to be featured on my blog (see the haul here)!

I had decided to treat myself and went all out that day with this purchase being one of the best things I picked up last year. It was such a struggle to decide on which shade to pick up when it store but it really boiled down to two choices of colors I would practically use on a daily basis and the boyfriend helped me decide!

Review: Sana Pore Putty BB Mineral Powder SPF 35! (natural skin color)

BB Mineral Powder time! Those who have followed my FOTD posts and my reviews of bases would know that I'm a powder person. I cannot leave the house without a powder. I will not wear any liquid foundations without setting it with a powder here in humid and hot Singapore! I've tried plenty of mascaras and liquid eyeliners from Japanese brands from Watsons and Sasa but realized some months ago that I really should give pressed powders a shot too since I'm a powder nut!

Japanese drugstore brands which have powders tend to have at most 2-3 shades, all usually yellow based so those who are between a MAC NC20-25 best match the colors usually sold.

Holiday Special: Day 3 and 4 in Bali, Indonesia! (April 2015)

Snorkeling, pools and a BBQ seafood dinner! Bringing you day 3 and 4 from my week long beach holiday to Bali which took place at the end of April! Unlike the majority of our mornings on holidays, our second day in Bali started off before the crack of dawn as we waited for an early pick up from our hotel for our Snorkeling trip which I had booked in advance with a very popular and reputation diving company called, Blue Season Bali!

It was a first proper snorkeling trip I've done is quality waters with stunning marine life and I totally will be saving up to buy a waterproof case for my camera in the future! Our third day was very relaxed and we ended up taking a taxi to the famous Jimbaran beach to have a BBQ seafood dinner while watching the sea and sunset!

Review: Soufeel Jewelry! (925 Sterling Silver Bangle and Charms)

Soufeel Jewelry! Today I take a slight detour from my usual beauty and food posts! I was contacted by a representative from the brand Soufeel and was kindly sent items I chose from their site. The brand was founded in 2011 and sells a variety of jewelry mostly comprised of bracelets, beads and charms! I've only ever reviewed beauty related items sent to me but I was very intrigued by the beautifully designed charms and am a huge fan of silver as I'm allergic to many metals, even white gold tends to irritate my skin!

Although I don't often feature fashion or anything about my jewelry collection, 90% of my ear rings, rings and bracelets are silver and the rest titanium or white gold. I cannot wear stainless steel and plastics as my skin is allergic to them hence over time I have grown to love wearing silver. If you're a lover of charm bracelets or are in need of buying a special someone a gift do read on!

Review: Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence water base SPF 50!

Slap on some Watery Essence! Ladies, as the majority of us beauty and skincare obcessed junkies would know, sun protection is essential to better long term quality of our skin. Like many I avoided any forms of sunscreen growing up hating the texture, the feeling and the hassle of applying anything on unless I definitely was going to be in direct sun for sports or an activity that will take a while. It's only been in the last few years that I've been using both make up and skincare to protect my skin.

I've already tried Biore's UV Aqua Whitening Mousse base (my review here) which was lovely, lightweight and easy to use beneath my make up or on its own. Today I bring to you a quick review on it's other famous version, the watery essence base!

Food Post: All things eaten out for May 2015!

Szechuan pepper, Burger King and Spanish Gambas! The month of May was quite a jumbled month when it comes to food! Then again the majority of Singaporeans who eat 'Singaporean food' pretty much eat everything and anything! It's normal for a Chinese Singaporean to eat Indian curry, Malay achar pickles or traditional congee! Here in Singapore it's a food haven with cuisines from most corners of the world easily available.

I've been trying to cut down on how often I eat out in a bid to save up money but I've also changed my focus on where I eat out. The boyfriend and I have found a love for Chinatown and its many cafes and restaurants selling cuisines from all over China. We intend to visit every other week to get out hit of spicy, cumin coated, marinated organs!

First look using Addiction by Ayako products!

Addiction by Ayako! My entire look today consist of five products which I got my best friend to send me at the end of last year. Most of you maybe unaware of this brand which I'm featuring today, considered as a high end brand in Japan, it's a very exclusive brand that cannot be bought anywhere outside of Japan currently. This brand as well as many other sought after popular Japanese brands both affordable and high end are sold international online at ichibankao.com where all prices include the shipping already.

After receiving these products from my best friend in an end of year package swap (where I basically picked out everything I wanted and she just got a ton of stuff I picked out for her!!) I knew I had to do a look that included all the products I picked out from Addiction!

Rave Review: Maybelline the Rocket Volum' Express mascara!

Some Rocket for you? For those who have followed my beauty products reviews for a while I'm an avid mascara user and lover. I've got super thin asian lashes and a good mascara is a must! I only ever wear waterproof formulation as I wouldn't risk anything that washes off easily since the humidity and heat is through the roof in Singapore!

This mascara from Maybelline has actually been in our stores selling for about two years but I held off waiting for the dark and light blue tube which I saw in reviews to be the waterproof version.

Drugstores in Singapore typically only brings in the waterproof versions of mascaras but they didn't with this one. Finally in Bangkok's duty free some months ago I decided to get it despite it not being waterproof and I've been kicking myself since for not getting it sooner!

Dinner at 'I AM' cafe and dessert at Fika Swedish Cafe & Bistro!

A Sumptuous Dinner by Haji Lane! For those more familiar with Singapore's Cafe and hipster type eateries Arab street, Haji Lane and other roads around the area are spotted by lovely independent eateries. As someone who doesn't drop by the area very often the few times I walked through there was a particular cafe that always seemed to have a long line called "I AM" which I finally tried with my boyfriend.

According to their website this halal cafe was inspired by the cafes in Amsterdam and serves an array of general western fare. Right off the bat, there's absolutely nothing about the cafe or its food that brings to mind anything european and definitely nothing particularly from Amsterdam. That is besides the large blown up photo of a street view from the city used as wall paper!

Rave Review: Maybelline Water Shine Pure Lipsticks in B23 and PR31!

Water Shine Pure Lippies! For many ladies who regularly apply war paint aka make up, lip color of some sort weather it be a straight up lipstick, gloss, cream stain or gloss is a standard thing. The girls I know who don't do much eye make up still tend to wear some lip color and the same goes for those who do more complicated and heavy make up. Lip color tends to be a staple make up product, however for myself, some one with terribly sensitive lips I will often skip on any lip color with the exception of a good clear balm.

In asia (or at least south east asia) Maybelline has sold this range of lipsticks for many years now called the 'water pure shine' which are lipsticks that are moisturizing, light weight and come in a lovely range of colors. I had just HAD to pick up a couple after swatching all the shades in store!
