Review: Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks in 02!

Glow Fleur Cheeks blush! As many of my followers and regular readers know, I'm sort of a blush fiend...actually a complete lover of blush. I've been called 'blush queen', 'blush fiend' and 'blush lover' and it's all true! For the longest time and still today I've wanted and lusted after Anna Sui's Rose Cheek color which looks like this blush from Canmake although more intricate! I still plan to get one from them although since it's a high end brand in Singapore I've never bought anything from the brand except perfume.

I've purchased many single blushes from Canmake and after seeing a few variations of this blush from them last year I just HAD TO GET IT. It reminded me too much of Anna Sui's although at a fraction of the price!

The brush that comes with the blush. A super dense, soft, synthetic brush. It's a bit small but very well made!
Packaging & Product!

Besides the obvious draw of this product being the pretty raised flower print on the blush, I am quite a fan of clear plastic packaging that is sturdy and thick. I really love the scallop design around the blush case and the very simple gold reflective design motif around the cover. Canmake in general has very simple, feminine packaging on most of their make up products. My only qualm with the packaging about this blush is that I really wish it was smaller. I really don't need the small brush and the extra bulk the packaging takes up.

I own and love a total of 6 single blushes from Canmake. The singles tend to be a bit powdery but besides that the blushes have a great pay off, blend beautifully and come off with a very natural look. This blush is pretty much similar in terms of having a slightly powdery texture although it's super soft and creamy. The pigmentation of these shades are light to medium in tone, depending on which shades are used.

I personally use this blush 3 ways, either all the colors mixed together, using the lighter shades or the darker shades! You buy one blush but can have three types of color. All the shades together gives you the most pretty soft pinky cream shade. I really like that these colors have a milky tone to them which is very pretty and typical of japanese blush shades! I think this color is best for those of fair to light skin tones and may not show up as well on those who are tan or may clash on their complexion.

Paid: $25.90 SGD or about $19 USD

Recommend: Yes, if you like blushes that have a soft glowy finish that isn't completely flat or shimmery! These are best for those with fair-light complexions and do give you some variety since you can get 3 different types of colors from this one product!

Repurchase: No, not this exact product! One is enough, I've been dying to try their cream blushes!

Bottom line: A very pretty blush, I love the versatility with the different shades and love how canmake's blushes always have such a pretty natural look on the cheeks even when you apply a lot! Do check out Canmake's blushes for a pretty range of super wearable blushes!

Are you a fan of these multi-color blushes?
Do you own any Canmake blushes?

  5. I have two of these and I love them! Try using the brush, it actually works really really well with the product! My normal blush brushes don't pick it up quite as well as the small brush, and don't worry, the smallness of the brush doesn't make it apply patchy. The first time a pre packaged brush has EVER worked for me! You

  10. I too have my eyes on the Anna Sui blush that looks like the Canmake one but it is also very expensive in New Zealand, been waiting for it to go on sale haha ~ I love that this Canmake blush looks so pretty and subtle on you! I was expecting it to look like crazy pigmented seeing from thee pan and your arm swatches the pigmentation looks super good, but I actually quite like it that its has a semi-pigmentation, I tend to go quite heavy-handed with blushes heheh. It looks so gorgeous on you! This blush will be next on my list, I do want to get the more coral one though ^^ Great post as always, love your blush reviews :)

  17. I saw this in Hong Kong, but I made a pass on it because i thought it was too shimmery for my taste. It looks really pretty on you though! And you MUST try their cream blushes. THEY ARE AMAZING!! :D

  18. Super pretty and it's so nice how you get so many different colors from one pan. It's a little hard to tell though whether it's easy to pick up the individual colors with a regular sized blush brush.

  19. I've only swatched this and was debating whether to purchase or not. I already have a number of blushes and I'm not really a blush-person so I skipped. Now I'm thinking that maybe I should have gotten one because this looks really awesome on you! :D

  20. I've heard so many great things about Canmake blushes but I've still yet to try one! Considering they're pretty accessible in HK. The embossing on this is so cute!
