Holiday Special: Skincare and Accessories Haul from Bangkok, Thailand! (Jan 2015)

Skincare and accessories haul from Bangkok! Hello everyone! Today I'm bringing everyone the next part of my haul from my recent holiday trip to Bangkok with my mom which we took in January. It's so hard to resist coming back to Singapore with one or two large suitcases full of skincare, body care and make up as there are so many awesome and affordable brands in Thailand!

Bangkok, Thailand has such great variety from the local franchise Beauty Buffet to korean brands from Karmart, products from Boots and other American and Asian brands I can't buy in Singapore at Beautrium!

For those who missed or would like to see other days from holiday do click on the following links! Day 1 (see here), Day 2 (see here), Day 3 (see here) or my big make up haul (see here)!

Holiday Special: Skincare and Accessories Haul from Bangkok, Thailand! (Jan 2015)
Rilakkuma products! All purchased from an awesome shop in Terminal 21 shopping mall! They sold back packs, lunch boxes, pencil holder, trash bins and all kinds of accessories from Hello Kitty, Doremon, Mickey Mouse and other characters! Everything was soooo affordable!
25 Baht is $1 Singapore dollar so most of the smaller products cost less than a dollar to a few dollars each! So damn affordable compared to a lunch box that would cost $30-40 in Singapore but only $5 in this big store!
Rilakkuma comb, pot container, loose powder with puff container, plastic mug! I was soo tempted to buy a lunch box and more items but resisted!
Rilakkuma plastic mug! This was just too damn cute and I use it almost everyday at home!
Rilakkuma plastic mug!
Rilakkuma plastic tooth comb! Look at those characters, sooo damn cute!
Rilakkuma container for loose powder with a puff! This is a lovely small size that's great for travel!
Rilakkuma plastic container pot! Good for medicine, make up or anything that would fit inside tough. I just love the raised bear face on the cap! Too cute!
Skincare/Body care haul from Boots and Beauty Buffet!                                   (See my make up haul from Bangkok here!)
Soap & Glory Scrub em Leave em body buff and Flake Away scrub! Both in the small sizes from Boots!
Soap & Glory Scrub em Leave em body buff! I totally regret not purchasing this a year ago in Singapore. The smell is just incredible!
Soap & Glory Flake Away scrub! Again, the scent is fabulous and I like how this scrub is very fine!
Cathy Doll So Happy Strawberry Sugar & Salt Scrub! They had 4 or 5 scents and they were all AMAZING. It was hard to choose as they are big tubes and it was going to be heavy to bring back!
Cathy Doll So Happy Strawberry Sugar & Salt Scrub! I really appreciate how most asian products are sealed whether they're in tubes or tubs, there's always a seal!
Cathy Doll Gluta Arbutin Peeling gel clean salt essence! A body peeling gel wash!

Beauty Buffet Scentio Tropical Watermelon Hydrating Body Scrub! After smelling the tester I HAD TO BUY THIS.
100% sealed just like all other tube/tub products from asian brands! Totally appreciate it!
Beauty Buffet Scentio Tropical Watermelon Hydrating Body Scrub!
Mini tub of rose vaseline and a honey lip balm! Both are sooo good. The rose tint is slight and it smells of roses, the honey balm has a super oil deep moisturizing quality and feels so rich but thin at the same time!
Mini retractable brushes! The pink for me, the blue for grandma! These are sooo soft and dense and were about $5 each!
Such gorgeous mini retractable brushes purchased in MBK center!
A lovely white cotton top that's stretchy! There was only one size, this would best fit someone size 10-14 UK! Bought in MBK center, the shop sold so many variations of tops like this!
A pair of rip curl shorts for the beach! I wanted to get it in turquoise blue but my size didn't have that color! I'm so happy to get a cheap pair though! Totally buy board shorts for men/women when in thailand, it's very affordable!
Cathy Doll Face masks! (I wish I bought more), sample sizes of a mud mask papaya pineapple peeling gel, CC primer, Cathy Doll charcoal nose strip, Cathy Doll Berry yoghurt peeling gel, mini size Cathy Doll face wash!
Lion Seeds, tomato, cucumber, chilli padi and sweet basil! Purchased from a local supermarket inside MBK! I love the range of asian vegetable seeds in thailand! Wished I bought more!
Yes! So as you can see, Bangkok is an awesome place for those who love buying clothes, accessories (bags, stationary, toys) and it's a city where you can find really affordable cute stuff. This trip I really did a good job of buying things in more of a balance of make up and skincare as in the past I realized that buying clothes on holidays usually turn out to not be the best choice as I end up not wearing many of the pieces I've bought in the past.

Places you must visit while shopping for beauty items in Bangkok is Boots, Beautrium, Beauty Buffet and Karmart! The prices in general are so affordable compare to Singapore and there are awesome products that I can't find here!

For those who missed or would like to see other days from holiday do click on the following links! Day 1 (see here), Day 2 (see here), Day 3 (see here) or my big make up haul (see here)!

What kinds of skincare/accessories would you buy in Bangkok?
Are you a fan of Rilakkuma or other characters?
Let me know!

Feel free to comment!
Thank you!

  2. Hi Sharlynn,

I see that you had a great time shopping at Thailand. Me too when I was there. I bought a lot of beach wear from Phuket. I love Rilakkuma too and sadly, I have not seen much of Rilakkuma products at Phuket.

Got to check out Bangkok for the subsequent trips!

  3. Whhhattt!? I went to Thailand last year and totally didn't see any of this haha. Although I guess I was doing it with a tour group so there was no chance to browse around. But I can't believe i didn't see any of this in the airport. Everything is so darn cute!
