Everyday smoked purple and brown look! (Urban Decay Vice 2)

Wearable purple and brown! For most of us, we tend to go super simple or neutral for daily types of everyday looks! I love neutrals and the richness of going from pink, peaches, golds, bronzes and deep browns for all kinds of everyday looks! However now and again I want to use a light wash or bit more of a 'colorful' shade on my lids!

Today I have a shimmery purple look using a matte brown to smoke it out in the crease for a subtle everyday pretty purple look! Nothing dark or too smokey!

Continue below for the look!

Lightly smoked purple and brown! (Urban Decay Vice 2)
Lightly smoked purple and brown! (Urban Decay Vice 2)
Testing out the Catrice All Matt plus foundation in 020 Nude Beige. I've unfortunately since thrown this out because although the formula lasts and looks great, this shade ends up becoming very orange which does not match me at all!
My finished look! A wearable day time purple and brown eye with a touch of coraly pink on the cheeks!
Products used: Revlon Matte (for brows), IN2IT face powder, GOSH multicolor blush, Biore UV Aqua watery mousse, Catrice All Matt foundation, Maybelline color tattoo Inked in Pink, Perfect Black Pen Eyeliner, Kiss me heroine super waterproof volume & curl mascara, Honey moisturizing lip balm
Urban Decay Vice 2 palette (which has since been depotted) I used Betrayal, Rewind and Habit!
A lightly smoked purple and brown look using eye shadows from the Vice 2 palette! Betrayal, Rewind and Habit!
Using a light pink or matte nude in the inner corner really brightens the look! A soft shimmery purple looks great during the day and a matte brown in and above the crease gives it that slight smoked look!
This look was a super quick and simple one before heading out to work! I wanted a simple look but I also wanted some color! This Urban Decay Vice 2 was handed down to me from someone who didn't want it anymore! I haven't gotten around to swatching all the shadows or reviewing it but I've loved the shades I've tried!

What color do you in cooperate into you daily looks?
Owned any of the Vice palettes?
Let me know!

Feel free to comment!
Thank you!

  1. I love this look! Love that you chose a brown to smoke it out. I've been doing a similar thing but almost the opposite! I use a brown and smoke it out with a plum. :)
