Mini Haul: Yankee Candles!

Sweet indulgent scents from Yankee Candle! I've seen plenty of review of candles scented and colored and all from girls in the UK and the States all the time. Raving about mango scented, gingerbread, cupcake scented...so many food inspired smells!

Personally I have next to none candles, these sorts of things are very miscellaneous and not something I look into or invest in. However after trying a small version of the Midnight Jasmine scent from them last year I decided to drop into their shop again earlier this year!

Aqua Collection, Blush Perfection! This from one of the latest collections from Sleek, the "Aqua" collection includes this beautiful universal shimmery medium pink! The moment I saw this online on some other ladies blogs I ordered this in my second Sleek haul!

Royal Blue Candy eye look! (Coastal Scents Smokey Palette)

Bring out the Blues! Although I don't wear super creative and bright looks out very often, I've made a huge effort the first half of this year to play with lots of colors on the eyes since I only get one or two days a week to wear make up 'properly'!

This look was the result of my love for blues, teals and shimmer! I've been trying to try out all the shades in my colorful Coastal Scents Smokey Palette and here I'm using 3 more shades from the palette, a matte purple, cobalt blue and mint green!

Review: L'oreal Lucent Magique foundation in shade N2!

Foundation light 'Magique'? That's the claim of L'oreal's light infusing foundation, that I will like 'glowing' skin with light coming from within...all with the help of their product of course!

I must leak before you see my review that this has been one of the best foundations I've tried this year! Very happy and I do not think I'll be needing to buy many more foundations for the rest of this year!

My Birthday Boy! (Boyfriend's 20th)

He's a May baby! My beautiful boyfriends' 20th birthday was in May! Turning a full two decades old, he says like everyone else I know, 16, 22, 32 or at whatever age that turning around year on the calendar doesn't really feel any different!

Having known him for the last three years of my life has been some of the best times of my simple life. This post is my special of his birthday celebrations, lunch, dinner, presents and look for the day!

Skincare review: La Roche-Posay Toleriane Softening Foaming Gel!

Gentle foaming gel! I've not always been a fan of these 'soft' on the skin type of cleansers but ever since trying Hada Labo AHA/BHA foam cleanser (my review here!) and Avene Gel cleanser (my review here!) this one from La Roche-Posay jumped out at me.

I've had very good experiences with face cleansers which are soap free and scent free, I found that besides being gentle they don't leave the skin tight and have helped my skin improve or maintain a good condition.

Teal my eyeliner! I'm a huge fan of teals, as bases, as shadows and as eyeliners! I usually am a lover of the bright blue green shade but here are two looks I did using my Clio Gelpresso eyeliner which is a dark navy teal shade!

Spot conceal with TimeBalm! Hello ladies and all other viewers! I'm about to head off to my internship work but I'm going to squeeze in another quick review on a product I actually have had for a long long time! This liquid concealer from theBalm was from one of my first and only major purchases from theBalm which is sold here in Singapore at selected SaSa outlets!

Skin care Review: Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15!

Daily moisturizing! Whether you do it day and night or just in the morning or the night, moisturizing is such an important step to healthy skin! As someone with oilier skin I never though I'd enjoy moisturizers but now they are a skin saver!

I was looking for this for the longest time and when I found this at the pharmacy at the airport months back I was very happy, however it didn't turn out exactly as I expected!

Review: Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes waterproof eyeliner! (shades 23L, 15L, 0L, 4L, 12L, 5L)

Aqua Eyes for Summer days! Here's my small collection of Make Up Forever (MUFE) aqua eyes waterproof eyeliners. I've collected these over the last 3 years. I'm still very glad that these pencils have lasted in terms of quality after these years and are still creamy and still perform. 

I haven't often used these eyeliners although they are pretty flipping damn good in quality. I've just been such an eyeshadow and liquid black liner girl! These are great for an accent of color and water lining!

Fuchsia pop and Japanese dinner with the boyfriend!

Hot pink POP! That was what I was thinking about when I saw the pinks in my Coastal Scents Smokey Palette. I've been slowing going through all the sections, trying to use all the different colors because I've made a promise this year to use lots of colors creatively!

Right after I was done with this look, I realized that the color scheme looked a lot like the shades from the Urban Decay Roller Girl Palette with features woodstock which is a bright intense fuchsia pink. I was so close to ordering it last year but decided not to.

This look paired with a coral pink dress was what I wore out to meet my boyfriend for dinner!
