Vietnamese baguettes from Sandwich Saigon and an easy bright FOTD!

Bright eyes for dull days! I'm a HUGE fan of teal if it hasn't been aparent in a lot of my more colorful make up looks. A pop on the eyelids, from eyeshadow, eyeliner, cream shadow...I love it all.

This look was done for a casual day out with the boyfriend as we went to try out a cozy little vietnamese cafe in East Coast! I had to get the Banh Mi baguette as that was all I was craving to try!

Continue below for the look and food!
A casual day out for vietnamese sandwiches!
Bright pop of teal using NYX slide on eyeliner, Barry M Dazzle dust and Maybelline Color tattoo in Bad to the Bronze!
Bronze and teal eye with a fresh pink cheek!
Using a Maybelline color tattoo as an all over shade with the NYX eyeliner on the center of my lids topped off with a teal Dazzle dust!
Products Used: Bourjois Brush foundation, L'oreal True Match foundation powder, Sleek blush in mirror pink, Maybelline Color Tattoo (my review here!), Maybelline ultra comb mascara (my review here), NYX slide on eyeliner (my review here!), Barry M Dazzle Dust (review here!) Heroine make up eyeliner (my review here!), ZA concealer (my review here!)
The back splits open and is very comfy!
A speckled cotton tank with acid wash jeans! Both from New Look!

Traditional coffee shop vietnamese coffee. Left to sieve through a drip first before you beat an egg into it or pour it over ice and condensed milk! It has an amazing rich dry roasted aroma that's nothing like fancy Italian coffees.

Traditional Bahn Mi! Looks very much like what you're served in vietnam, the size of the bread and how the ingredients are cut! It could've used more of the raddish/carrot pickle and it needed to be stronger!
What the outside of the cafe looks like, its at East Coast Road!
Totally loved this look. It's easy and casual!
I think the pink cheek is my favorite part of the look!

Overall I'd give the food at Sandwich Saigon a 3.5/5 because I can make better pickles at home and it's not difficult. You can achieve the rich pickled taste with just over night pickling, also considering that they did julienne the raddishes and carrots, it wouldn't take long. Sandwiches should be more generous with filling too so I'd like more and more pickled vegetables and some more corriander!

The ambiance inside the cafe is lovely, its cozy and has a wall full of vietnamese products like coffee and rice paper for sale! I would go back to try their other dishes as everything is very affordable!

Thanks for stopping by!
