Having made my first sleek purchases at the end of last year I decided on getting a creme to powder foundation after getting a good look at swatches of all the shades through a lady's blog online!
Check out my sleek haul here!

Sleek Make Up Oil-free creme to powder foundation SPF 15 in shade Sand 484 |
There's a compartment for a standard size round sponge on the bottom! |
Clear labeling of the shade and amount on the bottom! |
The product is in a solid cream form, this shade is a good match for those who are at the end of the 'light' skin tone spectrum |

Packaging & Product!
Plain, well labelled and 'Sleek!' I do like the matte hard black plastic packaging. It's not the fanciest but it's very practical and not overly bulky or flimsy at all. It comes with a mirror and a compartment for a sponge and still the packaging is not too large.
The product itself is quite a dream in its category. Meant to be a creme foundation that becomes a powder after being applied, it feels very lightweight and silky when first touched with the fingers and has a silky smooth creamy feel. After application and being blended out the product remains a bit dewy on the skin and sets to a soft matte finish.
I finish my application of my base after applying this with my fingers and blending it around under my eyes and mouth with a brush with a coat of powder as usual. This foundation last for a decent amount of time maybe between 4-6 hours without coming off to an extent that needs serious touch up.
My habits of always powdering throughout the day also extends the wear life of this product, I'd say its best for normal to combination oily skin. Coverage wise this product can be worn sheer for light coverage or layered up for a heavy medium. This is best for medium coverage.
Comparison: Sleek creme to powder in Sand 484, Missha Perfect Cover in 27 honey beige (my review here!), Bourjois Healthy Mix in 53 (my review here!) |
In terms of coverage, Missha has the most, followed by Sleek and then Bourjois!

Bare face, clear skin with minor freckles |
Paid: $9.90 USD or $12.30 SGD (such an amazing price! purchased from Sleek.com free shipping!)
Recommend: Yes, for those with normal to combination oily skin this would be great. They have a HUGE color range which makes me so happy and the product keeps skin matte and very even!
Repurchase: Yes, in time to come, I will get myself another shade, most likely a bit darker for the outer sides of my face!
Bottom line: Great product, feels good on combination skin, when finished off with powder this lasts a good while, the color match is very good plus a huge selection. Do order from Sleek as shipping is free worldwide!

you already have a nice skin to begin with so a little touch of powder even compliments your skin more! I loved the outcome as it makes your skin look more smooth and flawless! Great review as always! ^_~ I am so going to check out sleek product nowwwwwwwwwwwwww....=)
ReplyDeleteMy skins good about 80% of the time! Been having a few small annoying spots the last two weeks! This is great for light coverage but I know it can cover up scars or the redness form pimples nicely!
DeleteThis looks like a really nice foundation!

It is quite lovely!
DeleteOh my gosh, it makes your skin look flawless. Brightens it up well, just the kind of foundations I like. Will get it when I can. :)
ReplyDeleteYep! That's why I'm quite in love with the finish, its natural and gives some light to the skin!
DeleteMaybe i'll give this one a go too . Together with the Bourjois healty mix. I have issues to find a good foundation. Most of the foundations i have , give me a patchy result :/
ReplyDeleteIf your skin is more dry than normal or oily than bourjois healthy mix will be quite perfect! Or mix sleek with some moisturizer, although it will have a sheerer coverage.
DeleteI could see the flawless finish it gives. I want to try it soon now.:)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely very flawless and they come in light to very dark shades!! Its great!
DeleteHello dear :) nice blog and cute post! now I follow with pleasure ;) if you want to go by myself!

I did not know they offer free world wide shipping. I need to place an order with them eventually cause I've just been dying to try their cosmetics. Not sure if I would be interested in this product though. I tend to avoid purchasing foundations online cause I just can't tell which color is the best match for me.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fantastic foundation with good coverage and a natural finish :) Never tried Sleek foundations but their blushes and eyeshadows are fantastically pigmented.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this product is avail in the us but it does sound great. I use dual finish powder from lancĂ´me.
ReplyDeleteAnother great review! This sounds & looks really nice on you, I'm not a big fan of cream to powder foundations, though. Thanks for comparing it to the Bourjois foundation as you know I just bought it! `
ReplyDeletegreat review...=)
