Tutorial: Easy pink and purple look for going out!

Hey there! Many a sorry for the late and infrequent post! I've been busy with work! For those who have recently joined my blog followers, thank you and please be patient!

Here's a pink and purple eye I did to go out with a girlfriend a few weeks ago, simple and eye catching, I just love the girly fun colors!

Continue below for the step-by-step tutorial of this look!

Pink and purple winged look!

Products and tools used!

Note: Similar/same colors can always be substituted for the look, you never need the exact products/tools to follow a tutorial!
theBalm mary-lou manizer highlighter, 10 shades pinks palette, the Magnum volum' express mascara, Kate gel eyeliner, Wet n Wild trio in 'sweet as candy', Vichy Aera mineral BB
loose powder mix (ZA powders shade 22/23), Peripera I love BB Cream, Canmake cheek duo
Eco-tools eyeshadow, sephora flat shader, skin food small shadow and gel liner brushes. Shu Uemura blush and elianto khabuki brushes! All the brushes I used!

After preparing the skin with a toner and moisturizer, apply a dab of concealer/bb cream/primer to the eyelid.

Then apply a small strip of tape from the edge of the eye to the tip of the eyebrow.

Apply a shimmery highlight under the brow and concentrate on patting a bright pink to 3/4 of the lid leaving the inner and outer corners.

After applying shimmer highlight and bright pink to above the crease...

Next add a deeper pink/purple shade to the outer 1/3 and blend in a cat eye shape up to the tape. (The tape keeps a sharp clean edge)
Using a fluffier brush, blend the purple to the pink and where the colors meet the highlight...

Add a pat of highlight to the inner corner and blend lightly!

lastly, use a brush and apply a gel eyeliner before peeling off the tape from bottom up slowly!

Apply a coat of mascara and you're ready to wear this stunning look out!

With BB cream only, the cheeks and lower half of my face too light and bright compared to my bare forehead!

Use a light pink/soft rosy pink on the cheeks!

Simple quick outfit! Top: Chiffon top from Editor's Market Skirt: Topshop

Watched Abraham lincoln Vampire Hunter! It was amazing!

So much sales at Warehouse! Ah!
The mean, unfriendly kitty just sitting around...
The finished look with a slick of clear lipbalm, fun, bright and so girly, I love it!

  9. I'm generally not a fan of the pink + purple combo, but I love how you have shaped the eyeshadow, it's so much more edgy. This looks great on you!
