Rave review: Perfect Black Pen Eyeliner!

Perfect Eyeliner...? I'm very excited to share with you ladies an eyeliner from a Singapore brand called "Perfect". I was contacted some weeks back by a representative from the company who was asking if I would like to receive their product for review and I was very interested and accepted!

In anticipation of the eyeliner for review, I'd asked a few general questions to the representative such as where this is available and as of now it is only found in stores at John Little Plaza Singapura as it's a new brand! I actually went down to John Little to look for the display and for now they are only selling this eyeliner from Perfect!

Rave Review: Sleek blush in Antique 142!

Sleek blush in Antique! Yes! I unfortunately succumbed to the beauty of yet another Sleek blush and no, my appetite hasn't completely been satisfied! I still want the shade Pomegranate (I had it before but it dropped and broke!) After order the most beautiful i-divine Vintage Romance palette last year, I thought again and again and realized I needed the limited edition blush that was released together as well!
I went right back onto Sleek's website and made an order for this blush only! The palette and this blush which are both limited edition are still on sale right now!

Check out my review of the Vintage Romace palette here!

Rave review: Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream SPF 30!

Triple the Solution BB cream! I don't know about all you ladies out there but in my opinion (and seemingly a lot of other ladies), I perfer using BB cream from Asian brands. They are usually always very high coverage, long lasting and have lots of SPF.

I've heard so much criticism about BB creams from western brands being too sheer, not oil controlling...etc and that saddens me! I mean, it's fine for those with already good skin but for those who want high coverage that can be sheered out if needed, just go straight for an asian brand like Missha, Lioele or Skin 79. I wouldn't waste my time with maybelline, garnier or l'oreal bb creams.

FOTD: Smokey pale taupe and golden coral cheeks!

Pale taupe and a golden coral cheek! Yes ladies, I'm back doing neutral and more 'wearable' looks! After so many months of having fun experimenting with colors and being bold in the eye department, my love for neutral looks have never left me!

I had to go for a follow up check with the doctor a week and a half after food poisoning and a urinary infection! Feeling so much better of course after lots of painkillers and antibiotics I was in the mood for a light, pretty make up look! I pulled out my MUA Dawn till Dusk palette and dug right into the small range of pale neutrals in it!

Shopping Haul: Clothes and drugstore bits! (Boohoo.com, Cotton on)

Spring haul time! Yes, I've been shopping, even though I spent pretty much my entire month of internship pay on the tickets and hotel for an up and coming beach holiday with my boyfriend! I paid first with my card and for two of us, we managed to get a great deal on Agoda.com for a nice hotel in Krabi that's well reviewed and also for cheap air fare back and forth!

My clothes picks have either been from the very affordable Cotton On or ordered from boohoo.com! I've been going crazy for casual dresses and floral prints! I just find them so easy to wear all year round in hot weather and also perfect for spring and summer! I also picked up lots of little toiletry bits from the pharmacy since I'm going on holiday soon!

Skincare review: Beauty Buffet Scentio Milk Plus Whitening Facial Scrub!

Milky whitening facial scrub! How would you like to have some skin care products made from milk and are brightening, whitening, softening and good for your skin? I present you the Milk Plus Bright and White line from Scentio by Beauty Buffet in Thailand!

It's an entire line of many in Beauty Buffet where all the skincare are made or have milk. I had such a hard time picking out something from the line to try but decided that a face wash was too normal and went for this super fine grained scrub!

Review: Lancome Virtuose Precious Cells mascara in 01 Precious Black!

Precious cells mascara! Have you ever wanted a mascara that helped to improve your lashes while your wore it? Like many asian girls with super fine, tiny lashes that are basically all invisible without any mascara or false lashes on, I've always dreamt of a super mascara! One that would maybe grow or make my lashes stronger and better as I wore it.

Some years back when Lancome came out with the "precious cells" mascaras I knew I wanted to try one as I had tried two of their mascaras in duty free make up sets and really enjoyed using them. During my holiday to Thailand I picked this up at Duty Free! (My holiday beauty haul here!)

Lingerie: La Senza Annual Sale!

Lingerie from La Senza! I believe that all ladies should own some sexy, girly, feminine pieces of lingerie or pretty bras and panty sets just for the sake of it! It makes you feel great and it can make you look and feel great for your partner too!

I had walked past the La Senza outlet in Orchard Ion shopping center a few months back and they were having one of their Annual sales where panties, bras, sleeping wear and all were on great deals or up to 50% off!

My boyfriend was with me and I didn't want to spend too much time or make him wait. I have more than enough underwear and was not in the mood to dig and sort through the bins of mixed up panties to find my size so I went straight to the racks of sleepwear and lingerie!

FOTD: Smokey jewel blues eye look with Urban Decay's Smoked Palette!

Jewel blues eye look with Urban Decay! Hey ladies! After receiving my new Urban Decay Smoked Palette from my boyfriend for Christmas I've been sooo excited about doing lots of different smokey looks with it and for a night out some weeks ago I gave it another go and did this blue toned smokey look!

Previously I used the palette and did a green and brown smokey look for our day out to the Gardens by the Bay, you can see the (green smokey make up look here!) I've only used this palette twice now but am so in love with the versatility of the shades and the smooth butter shimmery finish of the shadows!

Haul: Collective Threadless T-shirts and dog snacks!

Threadless T-shirt haul! I only knew of threadless.com after a discussion of t-shirt buying online with my boyfriend. I'd never heard of the site before but since he's a complete geek (being a part time hacker and programmer) it only made sense that he was draw into sites like Threadless for just normal daily wear (or garb!).

I'd given the site a browse once or twice and already eyed up designs I liked and also pieces for him but given the shipping cost, I found it too pricey to order right away. It wasn't very long until there was a big sale on all of their t-shirts and hoodies and I seized the chance!

Food post: February eats! (New Vietnamese restaurant and Porridge shop)

Eat, eat, eat! This is my February eats post! I really didn't eat out much this month but I did end up trying a few new places with my mom, family and my boyfriend! I spent a good solid week very sick recently but am all well now. Cooking at home has been next to none by me as I've been busy with work and school but I do hope y'all enjoy the photos of the yummy things I did eat!

Quick review: John Frieda Frizz-Ease Straight Ahead Conditioner!

Gimme some Frizz-Ease! Condition my hair! Being a person with long and thick hair I condition almost daily the lower half of my long hair. I usually use drugstore brands like Pantene, Herbal Essence or Tresmme  because buying more expensive conditioners is a bit painful as I use product up very quickly. I went searching in the pharmacy a few weeks back and found that John Frieda is in Singapore now!

Special: Day out at the Gardens by the Bay! (Flower and Cloud Dome)

My visit to the Garden by the Bay! Hope everyone's had a great February! I know it's cliche but holy cow, time just flies by! I can imagine it's going to be December soon and we'll all be counting down to 2015!

In the beginning of February, my boyfriend and I found the time to spend the afternoon out to visit the Gardens by the Bay which is now an iconic site in Singapore next to the Marina Bay Sands hotel and casinos. There are two giant domes that house a huge variety of plants, flowers and ecosystems from different biomes from around the world. It was so nice and cool inside the domes!

Haul: First order from Luxola.com! (Bodhi wash, Zoeva blush and brushes)

My first Luxola order! For those who don't know, Luxola is a Singapore based shopping site with a mix of drugstore and highend brands that carry make up, skincare, body care and tools that aren't found locally or in store in Singapore! There is quite an impressive range of products for quite a new website and fellow blogger Emily Quak has been invited to work with them!

Although I'm living in Singapore, there are still many brands that haven't entered our market and shops and there are still so many brands lacking from our Sephora's shelves! Luxola.com is a great place to try out lesser known brands on this little Island.

Review: Kiko Skin Evolution foundation in shade 107 Creamy Beige!

Skin Evolution foundation! Happy March everyone! Thank you so much to the newest followers of my blog! I've been very busy going between school and work but have taken the time here and there at night and in the morning to write my posts!

This review is made possible from a swap I did with Pam from Jade in the Palace Blog! Our first swap was done this time last year when she came to visit Singapore. The second took place late last year, unfortunately until now due to serious postal delivery problems Pam has yet to receive my second package! I will be resending it to her soon and I really hope she loves everything as much as I've loved the things she got me!

Note: This shade is currently a bit too dark and beigey for me!

Rave Review: Sleek i-Divine Snapshots palette!

Come on, check out my Snapshots! Yes, that's right! Almost 4 months after buying this baby I'm finally reviewing her! All of my Sleek products for those who ask are from their website Sleek.com. Secondly for all those who can't even be bothered to google their site, there is no shipping cost world wide, although some palettes cannot be shipped to the US due to colorings the FDA don't approve of.

I've been wanting more eyeshadow palettes from them for ages! From the beginning I wanted the Original, Acid, limited edition, sunset and all their palettes but slowy I realized I should only buy palettes with shades I don't have or ones that I will get lots and lots of use of!

Review: 4U2 Symphony Natural Look Oil Control Powder!

Symphony Powder! Being a person who used to suffer from much oilier skin, my habit of always touching up my face with pressed powder whether or not I actually need to has been a continuing habit of mine! I love powders, I usually finish one whole pressed powder every month to month and a half.

When I was on holiday in Bangkok last year I bought a whole bunch of pressed powders, both for setting my make up with and for quick coverage! Check out my Bangkok make up haul here!

First look with Urban Decay's Smoked palette! (Smokey green and brown)

Smokey eyes with Urban Decay Smoked Palette! Ladies, feast on eyes on my first smokey look using my very new and very dear Smoked Palette which was gifted to me around Christmas time from my loveliest boyfriend.

I actually very much wanted a special set of mini products from Soap & Glory but he realized that I was on a make up ban and wouldn't buy any for myself so he remembered how much I wanted this palette and got it for me!
